Should I take Rivaroxaban and how long?
I had AFib nonstop for about three plus weeks end of last year. Was a first episode of any significance. Three 30-60 second ones before though steady beats. This long period went away after a few days on Adizem. Had to wait till April to see Cardiologist who said AFib is for life, it doesn’t go away

Severe Weakness and Fatigue
I this point I don't know if medication is causing the symptoms or there is something else. they wanted to try a different medication like
Cardizem
which didn't control the heart rate before on a higher dosis.

Hi I wonder if anyone else has experienced any of the following. I was prescribed apixaban and Bisoprolol after a mini stroke diagnosis last year. I couldn’t get along with Bisoprolol and so was swapped for Adizem. However, over the last couple of months I’ve developed a sort of loose chest cough

Do the drugs keep me out of AF?
I take 240mg
Cardizem
daily. And 100 metropolol. My question is are these meds, specifically
Cardizem
keeping me out of A FIb? Or is it the procedure? I usually get PAF every two months. Like clockwork. These are really antiarrythmics so I’m confused. Thanks

Chances of progression after ablation?
Still on
cardizem
and metropolol and Eliquis. I rarely even have PACs anymore. I’m 39, and otherwise healthy as can be. When I am in AF, it is particularly awful. I get mad and kind of pace around in circles. My greatest fear is being stuck like this with permanent AF. Thoughts?

Organized Atrial Tachycardia versus Normal Sinus Rhythm.
The EP Cardiologist did not seem too concerned... he is seeing me again in 6 months and I am starting a lower dose of
Cardizem
.

Need some guidance
Put me on 30 mg
cardizem
3 times daily . No issues since. The day it happened I had been sanitizing the house with straight bleach after we had a bout of stomach flu. Stupidly I did not wear gloves and breathed in a lot of fumes.

Adizem
Have been prescribed Adizem in place of bisoprolol . The leaflet says do not take if you have a irregular heart beat which doesn’t make sense as I have AF. Anybody have experience with this drug?

AF after Ablation
I usually have 5 to 8 hour episodes and
Cardizem
eventually brings me out of them. I’m just curious, I know that it is common to have AF after an ablation during the blanking period, but is that a bad sign it was so long?

Coming off Adizem now...
Hallo all. I have been on adizem SR 90mg twice a day over the last ten days. I was diagnosed with AF during sudden episode after being ill and having prednisalone for a few days. After three days on Adizem my heart regularised. But pulse rate has been v low - 50-65 and down to 46 in sleep. Makes doing

Your experience of af please
I would be interested to know how the start of af affects you in those first few minutes ? like many others who have commentated on this site it often comes out of the blue. For me my chest/tummy start to feel hot followed by needing to take deep breaths. Once the racing af kicks in it is v hard not

Though the cardiology dept decided my problem was “routine” when phoneing for an appointment she gave me a cancellation - bless her I wish I could thank her more! and I saw a wonderful cardiologist who really listened, gave me a long appointment , and has put urgent on having an investigation Which can

Now 3 months past ablation
Last week he finally let me stop taking
cardizem
, and that has also improved my mood and ability to exercise in a positive manner.

Pace & ablate, the only option?
Dear friends I having been following this site for about a year & have learnt many useful facts about AF. My first incident was about 4 year's ago after a heavy Christmas meal & drinks. After a terrible night with a wildly erratic heartbeat I went to see the doc sent me straight to Acute Assess Unit

Heat issues after ablation
I’m now back on rhythmol and
cardizem
and see cardio Monday. Landed in urgent care yesterday and was slightly dehydrated and all electrolytes were far low end of normal. Anyone have issues with heat after ablation?

AF not in control yet
Last year I was diagnosed with AF, I have been on Adizem taking a variant of doses now on 240 and it still isn't under control. I am unable to take blood thinners as yet due to duodinitus. As the AF affects my BP which keeps rising substantially then falling I am becoming a bit concerned. I am seeing
