blue and white feeling very down
I,m taking low doses of candastartin, dilitiazam, bisoprolol and apixiban, I,m aware that
cardioversion
is not always successful, but if it does work, would it mean I would be able to come off some of the medication? Q.O.L is not good !!!!

Has anyone had a

and been successful but had atrial fibrillation before
cardioversion

Newbie looking for some reassurance (AF and bloodclot)
Essentially I have a blood clot in my heart which is delaying my
cardioversion
. It was discovered after a TOC (? Scope in throat) as I missed a dose of Rivaroxaban 3 days before my planned
cardioversion
. Diagnosed in June (and given Rivaroxaban) but only betablockers since November.

Third Episode of Afib and flecinaid question
I am very nervous about this but also nervous about needing another
cardioversion
. I am also on Metropolol. He also said losing 10% of your body weight also helps. Any thoughts?

What I would like to know is has anyone else had such low tolerance of Flutter and taken so long after
Cardioversion
to recover.

Longstanding Paroxysmal af: What next for me?
Never had
cardioversion
but tempted to start trying that as the drugs are really playing havoc with my life. So, any advice/info on AV node ablation?

Surgery and AFIB
I was 13 months into NSR with ectopics after a previous
cardioversion
. My cardiologist gave the all clear but wanted me to increase bisoprolol from 2.5mg to 5mg per day but I really find this drug difficult. Tinitus, zombie head etc, so still only on 2.5mg.

Cardioversion
Hi I was to get
cardioversion
today but I didn't get it as my heart has gone back into sinus rhythm Yahoo, they said my medication must be working. They are going to leave me on Amiodrarone until I get my ablation on the 23rd of January. Thank you to everyone for their support.

Cardioversion question
I'm having a
cardioversion
on 27th December and it may seem a bit inane but my daughter wants me to go to the nail salon and get us a gel manicure. Do I need bare nails. I know from previous surgery I have been asked to remove nail polish but not sure about this with the procedure been so short.

The doctors have mentioned
cardioversion
but not stents-they seem to diagnose and recommend on test results and not what you tell them.

Vagus Nerve
I was diagnosed with AFIB in 2016. I believe I may have had it much longer, but was diagnosed as panic attacks. I am a 59 yr old male. I was diagnosed the morning of a colonoscopy. The day before the procedure while doing my prep to clear the stomach and intestines I started to get heart palpitations

Chest Pain
Hello everyone. My husband found out he was in afib a little over a year ago. He has had 2 cardioversions, one ablation. Neither would switch him out of afib. So the reality the dr says is that he will be in permanent afib. He is on a blood thinner and other meds to keep his heart rate at around 60

Cardioversion for atrial flutter
Has anyone had
cardioversion
for atrial flutter, how long did it last before the symptoms reappeared. Any recommendations for the best medication or that to avoid. I know that we are all different but a concencus from a group like this is also very informative

Cardioversion
I don't know if it's common, I was given 3 shots during the
cardioversion
and was told that it was unsuccessful . My sinus rhythm did not revert to normal but I noticed I felt better a couple of days later. At my follow up appointment 10 days later, ECG showed that I was in normal sinus rhythm.
