Back in NSR after cardioversion ?perimitral flutter?
Good to be back in NSR. Not so good; the EP study showed my flutter was atypical and requires a more complex ablation than there was time for on Monday; or, to come home to a very poorly partner who required hospitalization due to an infection. On the plus side my heart stayed in NSR throughout many

Night sweats
I am 76 years old next month and, based on hearsay and advice, decided against
cardioversion
and ablation procedures, due to my age. I understand that these procedures are likely to be much more successful if you are younger.

Post-cardioversion exercise
I'd be grateful for some kind advice on exercise post-
cardioversion

Post ablation and finally off amiodarone
I had my ablation last September and all was good although it took a long time. My EP took me off amiodarone in December saying he hoped I would stay in NSR. My pulse is still regular but I have started getting very fast fluttery moments which only last a few minutes and often happen when I wake

SVT After AFIB Ablation
Doc says
cardioversion
needed and probably ablation again to stop SVT. Anyone else run into this? Pretty depressing.

How my AF started...
From September till the day of my
cardioversion
(3 wks ago).... I continued my pattern of eating and forcing myself to be sick when it became uncomfortable. While I was waiting for my
cardioversion
I promised myself that if it worked I would not ‘over eat’ again and force myself to be sick.

Does anyone else have both ITP and AF
Also, heart procedures (such as
cardioversion
) cannot be carried out until platelet counts have been over 75,000 for several months. Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

Help
I was on Bisoprolol and Flecainide from when I had a
cardioversion
about 14 months ago, then was told I needed an ablation although I felt great on the meds. Since the ablation last March I was told to cut down and come off both the bisoprolol and flecainide.

Atrial Fibrillation and Cardioversion
Last Thursday I had a
cardioversion
and I’m back in rhythm.... I’m just so nervous now that it won’t last. Has anyone here had a
cardioversion
that’s lasted a decent amount of time? Thankyou!

Three years from diagnosis
I had a successful
cardioversion
in October 2016, although it only worked for a couple of weeks. If felt marvellous while it lasted. In November 2016 I saw the cardiologist (not the EP this time).

Back to work today!
So I had my 1st
cardioversion
last Thursday.... I’m still in NSR, no thanks to a wicked cold I’ve had ever since. Anyway no more sitting around, I’m back to work today! Hoping I can start forgetting about the AF again! Thanks for your support here in the last week, it’s helped me a lot!

Is Digoxin a high risk drug
I am very slowly recovering from an Atrial Flutter
cardioversion
6 week ago. I was then started on Digoxin 1.25 along with Rivaroxipan and reduced Bisopropolol 2.5. Doc thought the flutter was something to do with the Flecainide I started 3 months earlier.

Successful Cardioversion, but also Horror
After several months of being in constant AF, I had a successful
cardioversion
last Tuesday. The team who carried it out at my local hospital were absolutely fantastic and seemed to be having a lot of fun, so I just joined in as expected. My heart rate is now 62. Get the flags out!

Head in the sand!....
Firstly I am doing great, since my
cardioversion
I have had nothing but 'Normal' my Kardia. This is a first...im scared of getting too excited but I'm definitely on the right road. Anyway....had a lot of time to think this week. I started with the odd AF episode maybe 4 years ago.

Please help atrial flutter
After reading a lot of your posts I have seen that sometimes
cardioversion
works and sometimes it doesn’t!! Does this mean that if I go into atrial flutter again and a
Cardioversion
doesn’t work will it then become dangerous. Any help on this or experiences would be great x

Successful cardio version
My wife had a failed
cardioversion
3 weeks ago and was gutted as her body doesn’t tolerate A/F too well, we went to see our cardiologist who suggested we go private ASAP for one final go before we go down the ablation route !!
