Cardioversion

Going in Tuesday for my second cardioversion. Fingers crossed it works this time. Getting hardly any sleep keep waking up is that because of tablets?

Depends on the tablets but I had awful sleep when first starting Bisoprolol and Flecanaide

I'm on bisoprolol amongst many others. I can go to bed 9.30 then wake at midnight. Or go to bed at 11 then be awake at 2 ahh getting so tired

I had terrible nightmares on bisoprolol and my brother had to change meds because he had such problems with sleep when he took it for blood pressure.

I find that certain foods, especially when eaten later in the day, can have an effect on my sleep. Eggs are one and gravy from a packet another (so I usually make my own gravy). Also the more we worry about not sleeping, the less we can. Last night when I went to bed I put my book down to go to sleep, couldn't and then became very hyper (wish I could have that feeling in the day). Honestly I felt I could go for a long run or climb mountains. Think it was the gravy powder I'd used in a casserole. When I worked I found I never slept well on a Sunday night and always thought it was because of work next day, but when I retired I noticed it still happened. Thought it was Sunday dinners and then started making my own gravy and that cured the problem.
