Rant
They didn't write up my drug chart properly, so I had no inhalers, they didn't write up my cardiac drugs, so I ended up in CCU in the middle of the night for
cardioversion
. I bit scary given that they had a drug list from my GP.

Rignold update - Warning NSFW image
I am supposed to go at the end of next week for a
cardioversion
, to electrically reset my heart - basically getting whacked with a defibrillator to jumpstart me. However, the good news is, as of yesterdays ECG my heart rhythm is normal again - it appears my heart has reset itself.

INR level for Cardioversion
He is 52, he has finally been scheduled for a
Cardioversion

Fainting episodes
I am booked for a
cardioversion
in July with a view to an ablation If my heart will revert to SN temporarily. This AF has literally stopped me in my tracks and turned me into a semi hermit.

First episode of AF since my post last week (25 years of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation)
Taking "Kodaska" (Dave)'s advice I also tried my level best to look at the situation in as positive a light as possible and silently repeated the mantra "it has always gone back into rhythm before" (either by my efforts or by
Cardioversion
).

Travelling Abroad
I'm newly diagnosed persistent AF, taking Bisoprolol and Apixaban with a view to having
cardioversion
. I had agreed with my employer several months ago, before being diagnosed with AF, that I would travel to India for about a week to undertake some work.

breathless increasing in AF what to do? I am Calli111
I was diagnosed with AF last August and although they started me on Amiodarone with a view to
cardioversion
I could not tolerate it. Nor could I tolerate beta blockers, ACE inhibitors or any of the other drugs they tried me on.

Nocturnal foot and lower leg cramps - Eliquis
Being essentially a non-drinker this put me into major AFib and I was taken to emergency and had a
Cardioversion
. After the
Cardioversion
I was put on Eliquis for 4 weeks. Since I have been off this drug I feel so much better.

New to VF
The cardiologist and her doctor recommended
cardioversion
but she is reluctant to have it having seen too much television. Any comments please. For myself I am a member of the esophagus community having had Ivor Lewis 6 years ago.

An inspiration
Well done to AF sufferer Chris Swailes who last week became the oldest goal scorer in a Wembley cup final. At the age of 45 and after a number of cardioversions and ablation Chris helped Morpeth Town to win the FA Vase.

Advice Please
Apart from seeing a heart specialist once when I had an unsuccessful
cardioversion
my GP has never refered me for regular checks with a heart specialist or an EP is this normal practice? Any advice would be appreciated.

Non-Drinker had an episode of atrial fibrillation and ended up needing a Cardioversion
Also, since the
Cardioversion
my blood pressure/heart rate & EKG has been normal. Yet I feel lousy.

GP can't prescribe Rivaroxaban?
This was late on a Saturday evening after we'd done the chemical
cardioversion
(large dose of Flecanaide) to stop the AF), I was exhausted, and if I'd wanted to wait for drugs I would have had to stay in hospital overnight again.

How do I know what is AF and what is ectopic beats?
I have paroxysmal AF and had an ablation last Nov after a few nasty episodes of fastAF and cardioversions. I am taking bisoprolol and warfarin. From time to time I have episodes of what I call palpitations. They come and go. I don't know whether this is AF showing itself differently or whether they are
