Bisoprolol and arrhythmia. Has anyone else experienced arrhythmia possibly caused by an increased dose of Bisoprolol?
I had a successful
cardioversion
. Brilliant! For two weeks I felt almost normal! Then on 28th back it came with a vengeance! Constant slow AF. So disappointed. In the meantime I had requested that my bisoprolol was reduced to 2.5mg as my heart rate was always low.

Questions about AF
I am to have a
cardioversion
on Thursday and am very nervous! I no longer have any pain and not much breathlessness, so obviously the drugs are controlling my AF. Will the
cardioversion
improve things even further?

Worried about too larger a dose for Pill in Pocket for my weight.
Atrial fibrillation or flutter (pharmacological
cardioversion
) (off-label dose): Oral: Outpatient: "Pill-in-the-pocket" dose: Note: May not repeat in ≤24 hours (Alboni 2004; AHA/ACC/HRS [January 2014]).

Various BP readings.
I am also hoping that if I am returned to NSR I will not need the second BP medication as I was able to return just to Indapamide when I had a
cardioversion
which only lasted for a few days. The EP warned me of this as it was just a tool they use before ablation.

I THINK MY GP IS GIVING ME WRONG ADVICE - I'M WORRIED.
I have had one successful
cardioversion
and when I suggested another she just rolled her eyes and seemed quite annoyed that I suggested it. I an on Apixaban and 10mg Bisoprolol. I am flying to the USA in 6 weeks and would really like to be in NSR.

AV Node Ablation
So after nearly 5 years of AF, AFlutter, Bradycardia and Tachycardia as well as a Pacemaker insertion, 2 RF Ablations and 1
Cardioversion
, as well as a stroke and a TIA including 4 stents. I am pleased to say it is ten days since the AV node ablation.

Mitral Valve Calcification.
I have been very short of energy and breath and am due for a
cardioversion
on 3rd November. The Afib fortunately does not appear to worry me too much though it does affect my sleep.

New here
The last
cardioversion
kept me out of it for 6 months. Back in and out for a few weeks now. Mostly right before waking. Wondering if I should do a sleep test now?

He does not see any point in DC

Short but sweet - relief after cardioversion
Well, it lasted 33 days after having the DCCV, which was blessed relief after the previous events of between a 14-18 day interval. I have to hope that this episode won't go on for 4 days, like the last time, but if I'm not at the Patient's Day on Sunday, or BobD's carnation supper the night before,

Waiting for Atria Flutter Ablation
I had a successful
cardioversion
about 2 months ago and I'm waiting for an Ablation. Pulse is a little low at about 55 bpm but I have felt ok until today. Went out walking this a.m. and had to climb a moderately steep incline.

CV query
For anyone with PAF who has had a
cardioversion
(cos the drugs don't work), how long roughly has this held your AF at bay?

Flecainide & Tinnitus
Hi, I have been on Flecainide 100mg twice a day since my
cardioversion
in July for AF and over the past few weeks have developed ringing in my right ear that is now constant and annoying. I have read that ringing in the ears is a rare side effect of Flecainide.

AF
I have been in persistent AF since August2015, I was supposed to have a
cardioversion
last October but because my Warfarin levels were lower than they wanted they cancelled and I wasn't given another date. I am still under the cardiologist but on ly see the Nurse attached to the clinic.

CV or no CV?
I've since had 24 hour and echo checks and my cardiologist has suggested I now have a
cardioversion
procedure. As long as I can remember I have had 'flutters' and so I believe I have had AF for many years. The medication I'm on seems to have helped and my bp and hr seem to be under control.

Saw EP today
Fourthly - no other action required unless I feel ill or have frequent episodes and then his recommendation will be Flecainide intravenous followed by
cardioversion
ASAP so that the AF doesn't beget itself.

In favour of Amiodarone
Two weeks later I had my first visit with the cardiologist who was supposed to perform my
cardioversion
and she told me (as I suspected) that I didn't need this procedure and I could now stop taking the diltiazem.
