Appointments cancelled.
It was my 1 month post
cardioversion
ECG. Today I got the call, my MRI next Tuesday is also cancelled. This was to be my 3 months no physical exercise MRI to see if my heart muscle has reduced. Then to give me a plan on what I can and can't do.

Physio?
He would do a
cardioversion
and amioderone after, if I really cant put up with the symptoms any more. But advised against as it is also an invasive procedure with time in ICU. Avoid hospitals was his message, especial NHS ones.

The same lifestyle actions starting & stopping AF
as it did again revisiting that location) but equally if I relax too much I have to visualise a stressful situation to avoid the risk/terminate an episode e.g. worked a treat in hospital years ago when the doctor said the Flecainide drip wasn't going to stop it & he was going to have 'to shock me' (

More questions re Russian Cardioversion
I am in Russia and may have the opportunity for a
cardioversion
next week, though I'd have to return home soon after. Two questions 1 TOE ? Is it traumatic. I bottled out of an MRI scan in Russia because of a language barrier with the operator.

Cardioversion without prior anticoagulation
Because if coronavirus I do not think I will get a
cardioversion
for months in Britain. However I could have one next week in Russia. They would not require me to take anticoagulants for a month. Can anyone explain the difference in requirements, are we just being ultra cautious in Britain?

Rollercoasters and HCM?
I have had a
cardioversion
which has sorted the AF. My doctor said I can't go on rollercoasters but the consultant said I could and you got to live a bit. Has anyone else been told they can't ride rollercoasters any more? 🤔

I will shortly be having a

Canceled ablation due to “feeling” congested
I started back on Flec after the 2nd
cardioversion
and feeling fairly stable. Less of a tendency towards tachycardia - resting HR down to 50. I don’t have any increase in cold symptoms, so I’m guessing my mind created the illusory congestion. The fear was real but the cold may not have been.

Ablation whilst not on A-Fib?
I have had persistant A-Fib since September and had a
Cardioversion
yesterday which has brought me back to Sinus Rhythm for the first time since diagnosis. Feeling great. This afternoon I have been called and offered an Ablation in 2 weeks.

Requirements for Cardioversion or Catheter Ablation
He has never mentioned either
cardioversion
or ablation as an option for me. I also never asked him about these possible treatments simply because I was unaware of them. I have an appointment in a few months and will ask him about why he has never consider them for my case.

Being discharged but feel awful...
I also have a bleeding disorder but they have today said I have to have six weeks of anticoagulents (yesterday it was four) before
cardioversion
(which will be delayed anyway due to covid19). But to come back if I have bad bleed (which I will, of course. Hence "bleeding disorder").

Apixaban
I have been prescribed Apixaban to take prior to my first ever
cardioversion
. I am really seeking some resssurance after reading people’s experience with Apixaban and secondly regarding having the
cardioversion
. Also is it correct that bisoprolol puts weight on you. Any advice much appreciated

Back in hospital...
I think it is triggered by dehydration (eight hours without liquid, I did warn them) Yesterday they said they would do TOE and
Cardioversion
. Then at 10pm they suddenly put a line in my neck and are giving me amiadarone.

Travel and coronavirus risk
Meds have worked well plus a successful
cardioversion
and he is back to his normal healthy self. An echo scan has confirmed that he now has only slight impairment. Question is that we are due to fly to Canary Islands in April.
