. Adding to post as keyboard disappeared. Need to know what U.K. do for patients who are so terrified they walk out? Can’t cope at all. Everyone gets on with it but not me. Never had blood test or surgery in 60+ years.

Relapse after cardioversion
I'm due a
cardioversion
next week. I'm warned that I may revert to arrhythmia within a couple of months. Can anyone tell me, does reversion happen suddenly or gradually, or can it be either?

Advice needed
I have had 3
cardioversion
which didn't work. Last year in October I went for a ablation but unfortunately my thyroid was too low and I could have it done. They said as soon as it's ok they'll call back. I'm still waiting.

Symptoms worse than last time I was in AF
I had a
cardioversion
in Sept 2016 and felt great until Dec 2019. (In those 3 years, I was cycling regularly and generally looking after my health).

Medical bracelets
It's been five weeks since my
Cardioversion
and my consultant yesterday said that now because of my age I only have about a 30% chance of reverting back to PAfib, which he thought was a good think even though I still think it is quite high.

Cardioversion whilst in NSR. Advice please?!
I am on my way to Harefield now for a
Cardioversion
this afternoon. I have been in AF for 13 weeks. I have just checked my Kardia and it says NSR!!! (What are the chances!) Will they still do the
Cardioversion
if I am now showing NSR? Knowing my luck they won’t and I’ll be back in AF tonight!

Reducing stomach fat when on AF medication.
I have had a number of
Cardioversion
and 2 Catheter ablations. I am awaiting a Maze Ablation. I am on bisoloprol and Riveroxaban to manage my AF. I do tend to get breathless when going uphill or standing up suddenly.

Is Ablation worth it and does it work?
I had
cardioversion
a year ago it was all fine till this week and now I’m back in worse AF. GP said had to have an ablation but doesn’t seem to have a good outcome from what I’ve read.

6 years since ablation number 1 (of 5)
Hope this post finds everyone well. Noticed today it's 6 years since my first ablation and nearly 7 years since my AF journey started. Ablations 2014 x2, a few years later for flutter then 2019 for both flutter and fast AF. Numerous DC cardioversions (20+) and several attempts at chemical cardioversions

Approaching 8 weeks post Aortic Surgery
I originally had AF and my
cardioversion
worked and stayed in sinus until 6 weeks ago. I feel very emotional and sometimes aggressive towards my wife. I'm currently in bed today with pain around my scar and fatigue.

Coming off Amiodarone
Hi all, I've been on Amiodarone for 12 months and have stayed in NSR after my 6th
cardioversion
. I was waiting for a second ablation but obviously that isn't going to happen anytime soon so the team have agreed for me to stop taking Amiodarone.

YOUR OPINION PLEASE - LONGER TERM REMISSION WITH IBRUTINIB OR SHORTER TERM WITH MORE TRADITIONAL TREATMENTS THAT HAVE LESS SIDE EFFECTS?
Hi all, back again. Husband doing great after treatment for AIHA. As I suspected since back in hands of our original doctor, he wants to start immediately on Ibrutinib. Hemoglobin already back to over 11.3 after a low of 6.1 only a month ago,(wouldn't that indicate that he can make red blood cells?)

Afib only in late afternoon
I have had 3 Ablations and 4
Cardioversion
in the past year. My last
Cardioversion
was May, the last ablation was March of this year. This last hospital visit I was started on Flacsinide, which has made me gain about 8 lbs in about 3 weeks.

AF Chemical Cardioversion Flecainide
Just wondered if anyone has had a chemical
cardioversion
? Has been recommended to me as something cardiologist says I can try by taking flecainide twice daily. This is because I am having to wait till Covid 19 situation improves so I can have normal
cardioversion
.
