Can I combine Vitamin K2 and Edoxaban (Lixiana)? (Dr. Stephen Sinatra)
Afib is a different story though, and quite difficult to fix without electro
cardioversion
or ablation and other stuff. (Sorry, English is not my native) Even electro
cardioversion
and ablation is not a guarantee for it to be fixed, I understood.

Post cardioversion itching
My husband had another
cardioversion
procedure last Friday and although it was successful he has had all-over itching which started the next day. This didn't happen the first time around.

Just Diagnosed With Atrial Fibrillation
The hospital then phoned and they said they wanted me to come in for a
cardioversion
in a months time once I've taken the Rivaroxaban for at least 3 weeks and am currently waiting for that appointment.

Quivering sensations
I hope you are all wellMy question : Has anyone experienced episodic "quivering" sensations that are very brief, 10 seconds or so? I've had something similar before, several years ago and wore a Zio patch for 2 weeks but never picked up any A-fib only PACs and PVCs. I am now 67 year old dx with paroxsymal

Amiodorone anyone?
Following a short-lived success with
cardioversion
, my EP cardiologist has prescribed Amiodarone 200mg daily. So not a massive dose. The waiting list for ablation is long, so this is a stop gap.

Living With A-Fib Questions
For example, I know
Cardioversion
doesn't work for everyone and that it doesn't always last but, if it does, do you feel back to normal afterwards?

2 years of AFib and stop
After being in continuous AFib since 18th October 2021, when diagnosed with AFib, having 2 failed Cardioversions, speak with several doctors at A & E when taken in, and the some Cardiologists, yesterday my AFib stopped! Today I have woken up and no AFib, feels strange. I'm just wondering if it because

Cardioversion - preparation and aftercare - advice please!
I've been placed on a waiting list for
cardioversion
by my EP which I'm really happy about. I was diagnosed with AF last September or October (got a cat on my knee so can't get up to check the date!) and this rapidly progressed to persistent.

Newly diagnosed
I'm newly diagnosed fast AF, picked up at routine asthma check and sent straight to hospital, now waiting for echo and
cardioversion
, feeling very anxious as I don't know what expect after 😬

How long til Amiodarone works?
Dronaderone didn’t work. 11 days ago after 6th
cardioversion
, EP put me on amiodarone despite concerns for my low HR. It has definitely reduced intensity and frequency of my AF episodes (1/2hr to 6 hrs every 2 to 3 days, no more fainting, not needed cardioversions since).

Ablation
I was originally told that I would only need an ablation if the
cardioversion
didn't work. Thanks, Julie.

Update on 5th post-ablation
Scheduled for a
cardioversion
May 12. Meanwhile on metoprolol and diltiazem (and anticoagulated of course). Completely idiopathic and hopefully just a blip during the blanking period. Fortunately very few symptoms other than feeling like I’m moving in treacle. It’s a strange beast.

Seeking reassurance post-cardioversion
Hi everyone, As I've posted before, I had a DCCV on Tuesday of last week after being in Atrial Flutter for 6 weeks - 2 months. The flutter has come about after open heart surgery to repair a large hole in my heart. My levels of anxiety about the Flutter returning are variable, however much I try not

Anticoagulation considerations for newly diagnosed AF members
Unless anticoagulants are prescribed for short term use, i.e. to support a procedure such as a
cardioversion
or an ablation, they should normally be taken for life regardless of any treatment which might and hopefully will at some stage, control symptoms.

can’t stop Afib until thyroid in range
My tsh range 0.04 -4 was 1.98 endro was happy with it, then had another one a few months later and it had gone to 8.6 that’s why cardiologist said not worth
cardioversion
or ablation as will just go straight back in !
