Rising resting HR
Not so much an AFib post, but 6 weeks after a successful
cardioversion
I'm keeping a very close eye on my HR and this week it seems to be rather elevated. Each morning I wake and check my overnight resting HR according to my Fitbit.

How Long Before Improvement?
Maybe 10-15% better than before
cardioversion
. I did however feel very hot and sweaty but then so did my wife and she said it was a hot day so maybe that was a normal response.

Hello first time on here and found it so useful reading all the posts, diagnosed with permanent afib 6 weeks ago and on 6.25mg bisoprolol which is not agreeing with me at all but will persevere for a while longer, my question is I have been told that a
cardioversion
would be advised but has anyone had

Back In AFib
I generally don't revert naturally and required a
cardioversion
in the past. To say I am disappointed is an understatement as I really thought it had gone. Has anyone any experience of what the likely view of cardiology will be after 2 ablations? I was in persistent AF previously.

How do you know if you are still in sinus rhythm
I had my first
Cardioversion
two days ago. I had three shocks to get my heart back into sinus rythmn. I thought I would feel much better but to be honest I feel just the same. I still have palpitations, still feel like I have run a marathon by the end of the day.

Post DC Cardioversion advice
I don't really understand it all, but would be grateful for anyone's experiences of low BP after DC
Cardioversion
.

Cardioversion NHS waiting time.
Cardioversion
likely to be recommended. Wondered what waiting times people were experiencing? Thanks for any contributions.

Cardioversion - Overnight
Hi I’ve been informed my
Cardioversion
will be in September, woo hoo fingers x, however, I don’t have anyone to say overnight with me afterwards. Do I really need someone or will they have to admit me for one night, as I don’t want to take up a hospital bed. Thanks 😊

Withdrawal from Bisoprolol
Hi, My husband was in permanent AF, he has now had 2 Cardioversions, the first lasted for 6 weeks and the second which he had in February combined with being prescribed Amiodarone is currently still holding him in NSR. We have been told they are unlikely to work long term as his heart is dilated due

Persistant AF but the irregular irregular variety.
I had understood
cardioversion
may help reverse the AF. Would be interested to hear experiences from any others with sub 100 pulse rate of the permanently irregular variety.

ablation
Hello, my husband suffers with AF and after 3 failed cardioversions last year, he had an ablation yesterday though the chest. He was in theatre for a few hours and he is still in absolute agony in his chest, shoulders and back and can not move. Hes in hospital and they’re giving him painkillers, but

Cardioversion update
After a wait of 7 months being in persistent AF I finally had my CV this morning. All went well and back in NSR after 1 shock. Resting HR is around mid 50s and Bisprolol reduced to 1.25mg. Follow up with the EP in 3 months.

Cardioversion
Anyone had
cardioversion
while pretty much awake? I had sedation going on but was fully aware when it happened. Interesting experience to say the least. Just wondering if that was a standard experience of it or maybe I just got unlucky that I woke up?

Breathing - Breathlessness
Oh well, my first
Cardioversion
lasted less than 1 hour, last year, so now on the route of ablation, which, I myself am not keen on.

6 weeks ago I had a successful
