Yoghurt and thyroxine/NDT
The same blood test showed my
calcium
levels are still low, I can’t and don’t want to increase my
calcium
supplement so I decided to start having yoghurt at breakfast. I am now wondering if this is why I am feeling so tired again. Can
calcium
in food form also impact T4 absorption?

What does this mean?!
My
calcium
levels were deemed to be fine but Alendronate was suggested. I never did start it, but 2 years later I’m wondering if I now should.

Statin Drugs and Prostate Cancer recurrence
A month or so ago, I wrote about my hubby's blood test showing a
calcium
level of 134. Many of you good folks responded and some suggested that it might be a mistake. Well, it WAS a mistake. His blood
calcium
level falls within the normal range.

Help
She is low in vit d,
calcium
and iron. So far no cause has been found. We r lost. Dhe suffers daily and hasn't been able to attend school for a year now, we keep getting fobbed off with IBS. The pain she experiences is excruciating, I can't make them understand. Something is being missed.

I had a parathyroid adenoma removed January, 2021 after having
calcium
levels elevated for 8 years. Went undiagnosed all that time. Now I am suffering with the

complications. I am now tapering the Prednisolone dosage from 60Mgs. per my Rheumatologist directions. Down to 30Mgs.

Just Diagnosed Osteoporosis - Saying Hello
How
calcium
works but is not necessarily the fix and can be dangerous. It is not a
calcium
issue so much as it is a
calcium
absorption issue alongside of minerals and so forth. I already began a supplement by Life Extension called Bone Restore with Vitamin K2.

Alendronic acid quandary
Dr Kate Rhéaume-bleue’s book The
Calcium
Paradox says that it’s the D3 and K2 that gets the
calcium
into the bones. Pumping
calcium
into the body without those vitamins risks deposit of the
calcium
in the soft tissue and consequently raises one’s chances of a heart attack.

Recommended treatment is to take vitamin d3 and
calcium
. Also to start denosumab, such as prolia or romosozumab such as evenity. Both have serious side effects and I am not one to take drugs unless I absorb have to.
