My Mom's CA-125 has risen after first Chemo
I know with some others like
Caelyx
that seems more common. My mom was platinum sensitive before, with her CA-125 dropping down to a low of 3 after her first line chemo, and that was over 2 years ago, so on paper at least, Carboplatin should work again for her. Thanks, Michael

Anyone else have this after Carbo/Caelyx?
Finished treatment on March 16th with six Carbo/
Caelyx
(Doxil here in the U.S.) for first recurrence. About four days ago, a pain in my jaw started-- (at the "hinge" right below the ear-- so opening and closing it hurts) but this morning, I can't bite down without pretty bad pain.

Thinking it will likely be Doxil (
caelyx
) and I'm hoping to advocate for Avastin as well (though US insurance company's tend to not like to pay for it). We are of course upset by the news; but are coping well.

4 down 2 to go on trial drug CANTRIXIL
2 more as I don't know if I could continue, I'm not sure the next step I read the notes again and it seems that arfter the 6 treatment it's a scan then it's the drug and chemo together, if this is right I don't think I could handle that my oncologist said I can drop out at any time and go back on

Blocked bowel
Disappointing had to start this as finished
Caelyx
in October with good results. CA125 down to 219 which is good for me. Now 2319. In the two years since diagnosis never felt ill and been able to carry on with life and all exercise classes.

Stage 4 ppc
I honestly don't feel the chemo is helping, I'm on carbo/
caelyx
1 dose every 4 weeks. I feel no different except for fatigue. Also, my breast reconstruction fix is a total mess. The chemo has opened up the sutures and is constantly draining causing a lot of pain and discomfort.

Caelyx not worked
Found out on Friday that my two rounds of
Caelyx
have not worked. My CA125 is now a little over 23,000. So glad I pushed for a review before I had the 3rd infusion.

Any advice on Carboplatin and Caelyx?
Morning Warriors, Due to start six cycles of
Caelyx
this Thursday ☹️. Any advice on possible side effects? Have previously been on Carbo/Taxol, Avastin and weekly Taxol so know each one brings its own problems. Would be grateful for any help. 💕💕🤗🤗

Depressed
Am on
caelyx
and my body aches all over. Gp gave me morphine last week but I never told him my true feelings. I cry a lot. I’m thinking why am I bothering trying to fight this awful condition that will get me in the end.

Caelyx & carboplatin or Rotterdam proctocol
Hi I hear that the
Caelyx
/carboplatin has a response rate greater than 50% in platinum sensitive low graders 10-20% if resisting. Anyone know of any stats for Rotterdam schedule.

Update on trial drug Cantrixl
I go back next week to get the IP port out and then back to my oncologist, this will be chemo carbo/
caelyx
, I know my 125 is going up but I need a break from all treatment. Who know the 6 treatments could help when I'm back on chemo they don't know how this drug will work.

Wonderful NHS
Now I just need to feel better and for
Caelyx
to be working. Is that too greedy an ask? Hope you all are doing well and that you receive as good care as I have done. Love to you all Teresa

NOT any better
My sister Is still not any better after 1st carbo/
caelyx
and drain. She is still in bed not eating and so weak and tired. We are all scared and no one seems to be paying any attention just taking blood and we never hear from them. Cns nurse says it’s just cos she’s been through a lot.

Mixed low and high grade cells
After 3 cycles of carbo/
caelyx
my chemo has been stopped as it is not working and the reason being is I have mixed low and high grade cells and this combination is hard to treat. I've been sent away till next week when my histology and scans can be discussed. This is not good news.

Another question.....sorry
Hello My sister had her first carbo/
caelyx
last Tuesday then on Friday had 9 litres of fluid drained. She got out of hospital today. She still feels really yucky and totally exhausted. Can the chemo cause this? It will almost be a week since she had it.

Word in the street - which could be better for low grade Caelyx or weekly taxol
Caelyx
- is this more toxic although I keep my hair Has anyone heard if one seems to work better or the same. My current centre, Christie’s, usually give taxol but don’t seem to have a reason why in terms of response. BTW - I could have tamoxifen. I’m keen. But letrozole didn’t hold me.

Possibly back, but relieved for now
It seems uncommon compared to using Carbo/
Caelyx
or Carbo/Taxol. Thanks, Michael
