Xolar
Hi, I have recently started a trial of anti IgE injections xolair and was wondering if anybody else who is on this medication experiencing any side effects. I have had severe vomiting, restlessness and aching arms and legs. I am hoping these will subside as this is the last resort to try and control

Travelling with brittle asthma
I'm a brittle asthmatic and I also have bronchiectasis. I've got home nebs and am steroid-dependent. I'm still managing to work part-time but I have to travel a lot. My asthma has been getting a lot worse and it tends to go off incredibly fast e.g. I can go from feeling fine to sats in the 80s in

Manchester difficult clinic
Seen difficult asthma consultant x2 has now passed me onto Manchester clinic. Not sure what to expect. I hope they read all my notes as other consultant didn't know of any of my allergies, so I am not that confident and can imagine the referral letter. I had a great consultant for 15 years and now 3

Nebulised steroids?
Went for my routine appointment at the North Mid.Consultant I,ve only met once before has suggested trying steroids in my nebuliser rather than the oral ones I,m still trying to kick.Anybody tried this?Saw PR physio the day after and she told me there is evidence nebuliser steroids can cause more pneumonia

A Question about Nebulisers.
I cannot use nebulisers containing saline solutions as it actually reduces my lung capacity by 25%. I have mild Emphysema & severe COPD. Has anyone used a water solution in a nebuliser? Our Doctors have not hear of this but the chemist has suggested it as an alternative. And if saline hinders my breathing

Crackling and squeaking noises when breathing out, while laid down
Hi I wonder if somebody could help me with this. A few months ago when I went to bed as I was breathing out my throat seemed to be making a sound like 'popping candy', then soon after high pitched squeaking. A couple of weeks later I went to the doctors thinking I had a chest infection and was told
