What options are left??
Hiya, my names Erin and I haven't been on here in a while but I've had a difficult winter with my asthma I have had 3 nebulisers so far and I've just finished my months worth of prednisolone and on Friday I started wheezing again. I have an appointment on the 13th. But I don't know what options are left

Here we go again, felt like I was knocking on death's door, with what were first symptoms like aussie flu, infection and then severe exacerbation, peak flow low low, given antibiotic and steroids, and 5 days later and still coughing coughing coughing, changed antibiotics and

Weather and breathing
Hi Just recently found this site and as I have COPD I will be asking for help and suggestions. Let me first say, I am not residing in UK now, I am in West Indies. Medical help is dubious at best. It has been raining almost non-stop for the past 3 or 4 weeks and I am having so much more trouble breathing

Lots of Ventolin affecting voice?
Wondering if anyone has noticed an effect on their voice after lots of Ventolin in a short space of time? My voice sounds very odd after lots of nebs in hospital when I start being able to talk properly again, but I have usually put that down to the aftereffects of an attack. In the last couple of days

I have been on antibiotics and steriods for 8 days, 4 more days to go. Coughing up plenty of gunk, very sore abs due to coughing so much. On a brighter note my peak flow is better and waiting for results of a chest xray. Have bought a portable nebulizer online as recommended by my GP and he will prescribe
