Shingles vaccination
I know catching shingles with PMR is a complete no-no, but does anyone know if we are OK having the vaccination? I imagine if we are, it’s a good idea

What is Stereotactic Radio Surgery & some information please?
I think I'm going to be offered this at Addenbrooks for Brain Cancer. Questions are:- How many sessions require? Do you stay in hospital? Is it a hard treatment to take/side effects? I'm told they could be doubtful on treatment because walking is poor, why does this matter? Does treatment kill tumour

It was perfect when zoloft worked for me but time is over
I have a "pure O", but I think, I have undiagnosted subtype of OCD, in which the first awful symptome must be the inerty thinking, which means I am very dumb sometimes. But this happens only because I have uncontrolled thoughts every minute, I can't be away of them. When I was taking Zoloft 25 mg,

What medication do people find most helps their lupus ? Can no longer take HCQ
I've given it a good try with the HCQ, no doubt it works as well, but for me with lupus
brain
damage, traumatic
brain
injury and a previous
brain
haemorrhage
setting off seizures last year, as many of you know, the HCQ is unfortunately causing too many seizures by reducing my seizure threshold.

Advice on Pramipexole Withdrawal?
I was as diagnosed with PD in 2012.. At that time I was put on Pramipexole and Rasagaline and several years later- Sinemet. When I transferred to a movement disorder specialist in 2016, I was on 1mg of Pramipexole- 5 times a day (No this is not a misprint) I did not know any different until I started

The battle with Parkinson's and DBS
Hello All, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's almost ten years ago at age of 50, I had been having many health problems 3 years prior, and they attributed all of my issues to a spinal injury that I had many years earlier. I was missed diagnosed, I had Parkinson's. I started out using no Medications, but

Rituximab and tetanus (etc.)
This is to all my fellow immune suppressed folks about rituximab. I've been unable to find solid information, and my consultants aren't sure, so wondered if anyone here knows. Does rituximab impact our tetanus jabs and similar? I was up to date on all my boosters, but got bit by a tick on Saturday (think

Lyme Disease can cause AF & much more!
Hi Guys, just a short timely message to check for tics if you have been outside in long grass or heathland. LD can trigger an irregular heart beat. The following is the best I've read in a while https://heartmdinstitute.com/health-and-wellness/lyme-disease-symptoms-prevention-treatment/
