Legal issues when/if you tell your employer you have PC and need an extended treatment?
I'm trying to get my radiation treatment scheduled (combo
brachytherapy
+ 5 weeks of xray beam (IMRT?). Are there any recommended resources around protections from being let go by your employer due to the time off I might need?

Debulking Radiation Options
Other literature treatment references include SBRT, hypofractionated, proton beam,
brachytherapy
, etc. Do any of these other techniques show improved outcomes for debulking w/ confirmed distant metastic disease?

Treatment: Unfavorable Intermediate Risk PCA
McBride ruled out
brachytherapy
due to the size of my gland. He thinks I am good candidate for SBRT (MSK Precise) because the disease is confined to the prostate. He also suggests 4 months of ADT because it significantly improves the odds of biochemical recurrence free survival.

Ruminating on Extending ADT&Zytiga beyond 18 months
I am 15 months post HDR
Brachytherapy
with EBRT. PSA Continues to slowly decrease and currently is 0.06 last week. Last scans did not detect bone Mets or soft tissue Mets and suspected node no longer is visible. MO said we can consider stopping ADT at 18 months.

SOC options have run out, PSMA negative, declining health - what's next?
-First treatment was
brachytherapy
and IMRT. Undetectable PSA never reached. -Recurrance in 2009, no spread to bones. Began ADT and continued that on and off (PSA low of 0.01) until 2018. - Fall 2018, PSA rose to 40 and PCa found in 3 lymph nodes. Continued ADT.

Looking for help - newly diagnosed dad
Dad is leaning towards hormone therapy (2 years),
brachytherapy
followed by ebrt but is also considering surgery. Is this suffice to treat the vesicle spread? I would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice…thank you!

Fiducial Marker and Rectal Spacer Placement therapy at MSK
It sounded like
brachytherapy
from what I was. Apparently, my dad is a borderline candidate for this, having 6 markers In the prostate instead of 5, which is ideal for the procedure. If he doesn’t get this form of treatment soon he loses the option, so he is scheduled 8/5.

Advanced recurrent PCa, rising PSA, 2 negative PSMA PET Scans
My chosen treatment was
Brachytherapy
which I had done in Sept of 2014. Fast forward to the summer of 2018 with a rising PSA (approx 3.0), it never went below 1.1, I was diagnosed with recurrent radiation resistant PCa.

Lycopene
I had
brachytherapy
about three years ago for Gleason 7 (4/3). What I try to do is eat foods that are best for my health. In researching foods for prostate cancer, I came across lycopene, which is found in tomato products. Tomato paste is particularly high in lycopene.
