Anxiety 1 year after CABG
Hi I had a double CABG July 2018 when I was 50. Initially everything seemed fine afterwards and I had very little pain or discomfort. Since about February this year I have had more discomfort from my chest and left shoulder. Sometimes I can tell it is muscular but sometimes I have anxiety that it could

Can’t sleep 3 weeks after CABG x3
I’m finding it very difficult to get comfortable at night it’s making me feel very emotional, I hate night times. I have a recliner and also tried sleeping in bed but sleeping upright is wearing me out, if I try to sleep upright on my side my sternum clicks when I breathe. Is this normal. 😢

Is it possible CABG has cause a post op personality change
My husband had a triple bypass in May and he's not the same man. Angry, resentful (towards me), reclusive and quite nasty. Separation pending so would be glad of any feedback.

Shoulder Muscle Pain. Statins?
Feeling like both shoulders are pulling with some pretty slight movement. Taking Crestor and Zetia. Does anyone have any recommendations about dealing with the pain? I need the statins as I'm CABG x3 recently. Call is already into cardiologist.

Stent pain
Following recent cabg surgery I had further problems and a stent was put into one of the grafts 2 weeks ago. I continue to have chest pain so returned to A&E this week on advice of GP but the consultant is sure it’s stent pain. So why didn’t the cardiac consultant give me pain killers while I was in

VISIBLE VEIN AND ARTERY SIZE
Prior to my HA and subsequent bypass surgery last June whenever I went to the doctors for a blood test they would have some difficulty in accessing a vein. However, since the surgery I have noticed that all veins and arteries just below the skin are now quite visible (well not all of them!) and can

Should I go back to consultant?
Thought I was really healthy. Regularly walked 5 miles and enjoyed cycling. Then went to the doctor feeling poorly. Had cabg surgery in May 2019 which obviously saved my life but wasn’t entirely successful. CTCA after cabg showed LAD had severe disease, circumflex had diffuse disease and RCA also had

My search for the perfect anti lymphoma diet
About one year ago I discovered this wonderful site. I had been diagnosed with Mantle cell lymphoma in July 2015 and had R Chop and a stem cell transplant. One year ago I had just started a gluten free and dairy free diet and I felt great. I suggested that anyone who had lymphoma and an autoimmune

Stem cell webinar by MJF and 1 unanswered question
Just finished listening to the MJF stem cell seminar. It was not particularly educational neither it gave any reason for optimism. Well, judge for yourself: slides are available on MJF site. I asked the panel a question but didn't get an answer. The question was: " It was reported that people who

Stem Cell Transplant That didn’t put cancer in remission
Has anyone gone through a stem cell transplant that did not put the cancer in remission? What medications did they suggest for you?

3 month post CABG bloodwork is....odd.
45 year old male. Obviously I'll be discussing this with my cardiologist but I figured I'd share these numbers and get some thoughts. First was 4/9 of this year pre-CABG. Second number was yesterday. Total- 137 - 135 LDL- 80 to 70 HDL- 37.3 to 38.2 (this is a bugger) Triglycerides- 98 to 135

First CABG
I’m seeing conflicting information about the history of CABG. Really all I want know I guess is how old a procedure is it. Seems like it can’t bd attributed to the work of 1 surgeon.

Can a CABG fail?
Hi, about 20 months ago I had a 4x CABG following a heart attack and stents that my body rejected. Life was good. 8 weeks later I was doing DIY and my energy levels were up and high. Around Christmas I started to get chest pains frequently and exercising got a lot harder. Walking up 2 flights of steps

CLL, Bone Marrow Transplant and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Can’t really answer this as I haven’t had one for my CLL. Am 76 years old. Issue of bone marrow transplant has been raised several times in my CLL “career” ( 16 years ). My specialists have told me that I am too old for such a procedure. In fact one of them said it would probably kill me. And that response
