Radiation Treatment for Gleason 8 with Rectal Lymph Node
Have had an MRI,
Biopsy
, Gleason (4+4)=8, and PSMA Pet Scan last week confirming it has spread to my Rectal lymph node so surgery is not an option. Told it is a very aggressive cancer and its appearance in the rectal lymph node is not usual. Reports had the term Cribiform used.

Change from HER2 negative to HER2 positive?
Prior to
biopsy
Onc changed treatment to Xeloda 4000mg now says that due to the HER2+ I must go on Taxotere, Herceptine and Picqray IV infusion.

Mammogram update
I am now returning next week for a
biopsy
which will determine if its benign and just a result of ageing or requires further treatment. I felt quite reassured by the medic and fortunately have a quick follow up appointment. My INR levels might delay the
biopsy
but fingers crossed it doesn't.

Hello, I recently received a prostate cancer diagnosis and would values anyone’s feedback, experiences, or advice. I’m 53 and otherwise healthy. My biopsies showed various degrees of malignancy ranging from only one core at 3+4 , 2 at 3+3, and several just atypical. mpMRI did not show any evidence

Update - not good
She was "diagsnosed" with glioblastoma shortly before Christmas though the official
biopsy
results didn't come back until mid February. I wrote this before she passed, wanting to think of her in the present. I hope you all don't mind me sharing a few things about her.

Recurring Pneumonia from Breast Cancer radiation treatment
With no improvement in the condition by late December 2022, I went through a lung lavage and tissue
biopsy
of the left lung, all on 12-23-2-22. Within two hours of the procedure, I was back in the hospital with a collapsed lung.

CLL and Skin Cancer
The Dermatologist removed it and sent it out for
biopsy
. Sure enough, skin cancer. He will begin noninvasive low-dosage radiation in a week or so.

Help? Clinic messed up dates of cycle - not sure what to do - if embryo is struggling to get to day 5 blastocyst, might it still be born?
I'm thinking I could do the egg collection on the original date and freeze them all and then unfreeze and
biopsy
them if I want to - but this knocks 10% off your PGTA success rate...

Active Surveillance
Hello everyone, I have had 2 biopsies in the last 2 years (the last one was in January 2023) with the latest one showing 1 out of 12 cores positive for Gleason 3+3 and another core suspicious for cancer. It was also noted on my last MRI that I had a bladder outlet obstruction. My PSA went as high as

Feeling frustrated
The results of my liver
biopsy
were inconclusive because they missed the target area. They took tissue samples of my normal liver cells, not from the lesion on the liver. Super frustrated to have gone through that experience for nothing. Now trying to determine next steps with medical team.

How long for NHS biopsy results?
Hi thereSaw gastro after suffering from unexplained vitamin deficiencies (folate, ferritin/iron, borderline B12 and D) and despite having clear coeliac blood tests he wanted to rule it out. I had a gastroscopy with biopsies Sunday 29th Jan so 4 weeks ago tomorrow. Any idea how long NHS biopsies are taking

Anxiety Creeping In
Upcoming liver
biopsy
Monday morning…as it gets closer I’m finding the anxiety level is slowly creeping up. Trying to stay occupied mentally and physically to help manage it. I’ve had cancer before and not looking to repeat that experience again.

Reduced prednisolone - rapid onset of discomfort but ? PMR or coincidence - what dose next?
My GCA was ultrasound and
biopsy
proved March 2020. I never had any of the usual symptoms luckily, just some occasional mild jaw claudication. I may have a little of that now too.

Possibly Failing Calquence - what’s next?
Long story short hopefully… diagnosed in 2008 with cll, Started treatment in 2011 after
biopsy
of mass in nasopharynx turned out to be CLL related. Had 6 cycles of B& R, then maintenance Rituxan monthly, but was discontinued due to reaction (rash).
