Dad with Stage 4 PCa - Need some words of wisdom...again please!
A liquid
biopsy
was carried out last week, waiting on results for BRCA2 (to see if he qualifies for olaparib (Lynparza®).

Need practical advice re:RRP for 76 year-old in fair shape
Finally, this is premature, but obviously they will
biopsy
the removed tissue- despite the clean PSMA, is there a real chance there could be residual cancer somehow, and if that was your situation, how soon and what type of radiation did you have?

3B and falling fast
A kidney
biopsy
is needed to verify. A
biopsy
can not be done until blood pressure goes down. The high BP is probably caused by the kidney failure. Talk about a dog chasing it's tail.

My story- thanks for listening, understanding & caring
By 1pm I had been tested and a temporal
biopsy
arranged for the next day - I was put on the shielding list as it was the start of Covid and my immune system now compromised. I was terrified. The diagnosis was life changing- I am so grateful that a locum saw me that day and saved my eyesight.

Long time no see.
Within 2 days I was at the local hospital having a temporal
biopsy
. This is also negative, so I am having to reduce from 40mg. I feel rubbish on this medication as I cannot sleep, I have gastritis which is made worse.

Biopsy results following CT and Pet
See the PET results - he also wasn't super concered and suggested a
biopsy
- again more to help with my anxiety over what might be there.
Biopsy
results are listed - he said they are good but not great due to the miminal findings of rare atypical cells.

Getting an appointment with a renown oncologist in Chicago=Mission impossible. Is this normal?
Then she goes, have you had a
biopsy
done, I said yes, she is like where and what were was it done and what were the results, I was honest and told her that I was diagnosed in 2018 and that I had a
biopsy
done, she almost interrupted me and said, 'well you are going to need to get a copy of the

ADT or not for favourable intermediate risk with SBRT
Currently on AS, have repeat tp
biopsy
in October, this is routine for AS.Treatment advice, if I choose is SBRT but no ADT due to CVD risk as I have chads score 2, had 1 previous stroke in Feb 18 with full recovery, diagnosed May 2020 with paroxysmal AF, had 1 episode since so low burden, bisoprolol

ADH surgery or not?
I was just diagnosed with ADH after a needle
biopsy
. I am now being referred for surgery. I’m aware of the multitude of over diagnosis studies that are out there so feel just consulting with a surgeon on what to do next is a little short sighted.

when micronutrients are deficient aka co-factors will the continuation of B12 IM self-inject really help me?
I’m considered seronegative CeD however I’m
biopsy
positive and genetically positive. Back to my question: My GI ordered micronutrient testing to discover I’m deficient in many B12 co factors assuming due to malabsorption.

Genomics
HI all, After a progression 2 years on Arimadex, Ibrance my dear partner has had a liver
biopsy
and we are doing genomics testing, around $3.3k. 500 gene plate? Awaiting results but after a second opinion , (lady Onc, more caring, smart) Fulvescant has been prescribed.

Information overload and now decision time!
So then a month ago, I had 42
biopsy
samples taken and 8 of them were found to be Gleason 4+4 and all are in the LHS of the prostate. Petscan shows no metastatic growth. I'm 65yo. No health issues, no symptoms, and everything is functioning as normal, My last PSA level prior to
Biopsy
was 8.

How I reinvented my life after GCA.
I had a
biopsy
where GCA was confirmed. Looking back, I’m appalled no one could figure it out. I admit I didn’t have the classic symptoms. No jaw pain, no bulging temporal artery, just a slight headache and no eye involvement. After 2 years I’ve finally been able to accept what I have.

diagnosis process
There’s also a 2 week wait for results if they are able to do a
biopsy
. So not really any further forward re. Diagnosis. I can’t get my head around the process.

Progress report
Not much fun and the
biopsy
was uncomfortable. Then yesterday and Mr ENT for my intermittent voice loss, that was a treat, a telescope up my nose and down my throat. However, just a minimal thickening in my vocal chords but pronounced healthy.
