Lorazepam experiences for one-off use
I was in quite a state after the
biopsy
and it was nothing like this procedure will be. I guess it’s because it’s right under my eyes. On my face and the whole thing about somebody doing this to your face.

Confused
They did not do a
biopsy
of the temporal artery because I had already been given corticoids in my vein.

Doctor says husband's situation is rare
Because of the
biopsy
, they expected to see cancer in the prostate, colon or lung due to the markers. They were baffled when nothing was in any of those places. The pathology report stated that the tumor in the parotid gland was a metastatic tumor.

Subcutaneous lump in chest.
They will probably do a
biopsy
at the same time. Has anyone else had similar?

Short-term vs Long-Term ADT for High Risk Men
Here's a review of a recent presentation at ASCO 2023 by Artera.ai regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence analysis of
biopsy
slides to predict which high-risk men do or don't benefit from short-term ADT vs long-term ADT.

contradiction in the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis
images & Fibroscan shows that i have cirrhosis since more than 12 years.
biopsy
& Blood test before three years showed fibrosis between F2 to F3 but no cirrhosis , in your opinion which tools is more reliable and do you have such experience of contradiction's during the course of your disease

Divergent second opinion
He doesn't think that Docetaxel is warranted right now unless the genomic test on the
biopsy
tissue shows high risk markers. He also recommends radiating the prostate plus SBRT to the pelvis mets and to keep chemo as an option for later if needed.

Newly diagnosed with a difficult decision to make
Lesion on left kidney stable for four years has “dramatically started to grow”and is in a difficult position next to lung and blood vessels according to consultant so they cannot do a
biopsy
. I have been given a decision to make “according to my taste for risk”. 1.

Recently diagnosed and trying to work out what to do! All advice gratefully received.
Area of concern on MRIs consistent on both MRIs and is where the positive
biopsy
was taken. Prostate felt benign during digital exam. Clinical Stage 1, Histological grade group 2. Cancer contained within prostate.

anyone done a biopsy on their endometrium ?
Along with hysteroscopy which I have already done a few times - they will do a
biopsy
on the lining to test for infection. Has anyone ever done? What was outcome and if did find infection what happened after that? many advice would greatly appreciated

I had a temporal artery
biopsy
last Friday at the RD&E (Exeter) with two lovely surgeons. They removed just over 2cm from the 'bumpy' area just above my right eyebrow (photo in previous post).

Third transfer - looking for some hope!
Went through implantation clinic,
biopsy
, NK all tested, and all came back normal. This time I feel the same as my last two transfers, same symptoms. Just looking for some hope from someone who has had same symptoms from both BFN and BFP cycles. Literally going out of my mind! :-(

Looking for advice for my newly diagnosed dad
He’s had a
biopsy
which showed Gleason 4 +5 and his PSA in hospital was 54.7. So far he’s had hormone tablets for 28 days and a 3 monthly hormone shot. The oncologist first appointment gave him the option of apalutamide or doxetal with daralutamide .

Unfortunately my symptoms are slowly returning, my spleen has enlarged to 215mm and a bone marrow
biopsy
has shown that the fibrosis is now pretty advanced.
