Betnesol

It took 4 months to get an appointment and they prescribed me Betnesol Drops and Avaymst spray, the drops worked fine and took away all the symptoms but when I started with the spray, all of the symptoms came back.

I tried Betnesol ....no use Mesalazine..Pentasa .no use sure, Psyllium and dried plums soften stool which I take as sucralfate constipates. I have been testing with Sucralfate enema since 4 months... It reduced my stool blood symptoms by 80 %. All blood tests ok....

My gastro recommended Betnesol enema to handle light stool blood two years after RT on pelvic and prostate. However I find more red blood on toilet paper than before...after 3 days of enema... Is it normal or I should stop it.. The treatment is 10 days then 3 times a week for 2 months...

Prescribed 10 days of rectum Betnesol enema and then twice a week for 4 weeks. I am not convinced if I need it seeing all side effects at 81 years I may have. I do not have any inconvenience, no irritaion, no constipation etc., only some bloating may depend on what I eat as I am vegetarian.

Spoke to GP last week who put me on betnesol nose drops at a very low dose (1 drop twice a day) as I am on HRT..I read it can raise levels of bethamethasone. After a week I'm to start Dyamyst spray and stop the drops.

I also wake up with extremely dry mouth - I am on famotodine for gastritis - verapamil for AFIb - betnesol drops for sinusitis - could this be anything to do with it.

Famotodine for gastritis and betnesol drops for sinusitis. The pressure came on before the two forms of tablet so it won’t be those. Has anyone else experienced this with drops. Anyone got any tips on relieving it? Ash

I have been given ear drops Betnesol prochloperazine and galpseud . I have constant migraines . My nose ears throat are all stuffed with fluid so dizzy . My doc is not concerned that I have had three ear drops in last two months or vertigo . Please could anyone advise me as to what to take ?

doc advisied me initially doxy,betnesol, folvite mixed in water and garggle.then headded metrogyl and stopped betnesol asked me to eat more of proteins,please advice.my 4th chemo of taxanes will start on 5 th nov.will this hppen again or worsen...

I noticed this as soon as I changed from the Betnesol to Pred- On the Betnesol leaflet it did say that it was used for RA and SLE so my question is, is anyone else on or been on Betnesol??? And is there a reason that they do not use it?? I know for me it was like a magic Exilir!!

- I was given a nice cocktail to of medication including antibiotics, singlair, symbicort and nasal sprays and betnesol and i had rhinitis at this stage. Oh and i also sported a operatic bronchial cough!
