Post Transplant psoriatic arthritis treatment
So, here goes! I'm 48 and just "celebrated" 3 years Kidney-versary September 14th! I have PKD and was having a lot of pain and other issues before, so even though I was still around 17% function I was listed for transplant. I was very fortunate though to have a living donor come forward to donate and

Quite happy with ADT
Almost 83 years old, living presently in Germany, RT and PT not possible, ADT during the last 9 months (Lupron quarterly), PSA down to undetectable, quite happy with that.

ADT for a year?
Had intermediate grade PC no spread, had SBRT. Three months out my Psa is .03. Am on Lupron for the fourth month out of a projected 12 month stint. Do docs ever say, six or nine months is enough? Testosterone at 6 right now.

Preparing for my Urologist Appointment re Increased PSA -- Including possible biopsy questions
I am preparing questions for my upcoming urologist appointment to discuss increased PSA. Any guidance that you veterans of these battles care to give would be appreciated. My total PSA is now 5.2 with 18.5% free. Eight months ago my PSA was 4.4. (21 months before that, 3.9.) An mpMRI six months ago

Things I Like About ADT
I know that no one, like NO ONE, actually wants to be on ADT. There are a lot of downsides to it, and complaints about the fatigue, lack of sex drive, etc. are a common theme on this forum. I'm about a year out now from starting on Zoladex shots (a drug that works in the same way as Lupron), and I

Question for anyone taking Nubequa. How long did it take to get PSA nondectable… or did it ever reach that low point? My husband began with it & Lupron in January. PSA was 14 and 6 months later only down to 4.3 He does not have a prostate … Journey began in 2017. All clear at time of surgery. Biochemical

Health Anxiety
I am a hypochondriac. I don't invent my symptoms (a lump here, a funny mole there), I get in a panic until I get resolution. I had an elevated PSA in September - not past the limit usually set, but higher and my Dr's said they wanted to check further. I'm waiting for my 3rd blood test (a much more
