Bendamustine and Rituximab and liver toxicity
My first round of BR went fine with no change in liver numbers. My ALT and AST are usually under 20. Three days after my second round they were slightly over 20, 5 days after the second round they were close to 40, and 10 days after the second round (today) they are over 100, which concerns me. Has anyone

Bendamustine and Rituximab and Low Lymphocyte Count
After two sessions of B and R my ALC is 0.23. It went as low as 0.03 soon after the first session. I don't know whether such low numbers are good or bad. Does anyone else on B and R have anything to say about this? What number do we want?

Creatinine goes up after bendamustine and rituximab infusion
I had B and R Thursday. Beforehand I had a cocktail of drugs including tylenol. prednisone, and benadryl. My creatinine went from 0.96 on Thursday to 1.11 before drug infusion on Friday. I wonder if the drugs raised my levels. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Rituxan/Bendamustine
Have any of you undergone the Rituxan/
Bendamustine
regimen? I'm wondering what side effects I might expect. I have follicular lymphoma grade 1-2 and stage 4.

Treatment starting soon
On a Tuesday
Bendamustine
. There are loads of side effects they tell you about but have no idea how I will react but I know that it will get rid of the non Hodgkin lymphoma so I will have to put up with the side effects it’s only four sessions at the most.

Starting Bendamustine tomorrow
Hi there! I’m a bit anxious about what’s to come - just dx w Stage 3a Follicular NHL. I had Rituxan 2 days ago and it went pretty well. What can I expect as I start the chemo? I’ve read up on all of the possibilities but thought I should ask some real warriors! Thanks so much 🙏🏼

NICE approves venetoclax (VENCLYXTO) with rituximab for previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patients
The trial compared venetoclax plus rituximab treated patients to
bendamustine
plus rituximab treated patients. The primary outcome measure in MURANO was progression-free survival (PFS).

Anyone had these drugs? Comments please.
My Hem/Onc is prescribing
Bendamustine
and Rituximab as first line treatment. Dr said there is a protocol for 65 and under and one for 70 and older. I’m 68 so being closer to 70 that will be my course. (I believe dosage is lower). 2 days once a month for 6 months I’m in Alberta Canada.

NHSE publish positive review outcome for Ibrutinib use in relapsed CLL
The review also looked at previous removal of
bendamustine
from the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) when Ibrutinib was included. NHSE see this is an issue in CLL and are currently having this reviewed by the NHS England Specialised Commissioning policy prioritisation process.
