Ocrevus Infusion - First Time
First, they will insert the IV and give you
Benadryl
(which will make you sleepy so take advantage, get comfy, and nap), aspirin, and medrol (steroid). Once you finish the steroid bag, they will hang the Ocrevus bag for your infusion.

Evista - Raloxifene allergic reaction
Took
benadryl
and itchy skin subsided by end of day. No one is sure if it it is an allergic reaction. Recommend to stop and try a few days later and see if same things happens. Any thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else or experienced any of the severe side effects like blood clots? Thanks!

Contact allergy, medical tape how long is suppose to last?
I follow the advise of the pharmacist and put ice each hours days and night, hydroxyzine 1% twice a day, 40 mg of cetirizine and
benadryl
for the first weeks without any change. I got a prescription for a topicort cream. No change after an other week.

I would like to know if i can take
Benadryl
(diphenhydramine hydrochloride) for sleep if i have CKD stage 3B? The research on this is very confusing. Some sites say it's OK; others say it's bad. Any other suggestions for sleep aids?

Relief for radiation to C2
My husband just finished 5 treatments of SBRT to the C2. He has blisters in his mouth and down his throat and has a terrible time swallowing anything. Smoothies are even difficult. I did contact the cancer clinic and they called him in something that contains linocane (sp), benedryl and something else

PA and my first iron infusion
They gave me IV
benadryl
before infusion started to combat any reactions. I did fine, but sleepy the rest of the day. I really was happy to finally get the first one out of the way. Today I woke up feeling very anxious. I read that my body needs to get use to the added iron/energy in my system.

rituximab reactions
The first time time they had to stop the infusion because I had reached the max of
Benadryl
and Demerol. I was told this happens a lot the first time but unfortunately every subsequent infusion I have had reactions, mainly rigors and coughing.

Initial Obinutuzumab (flush?)Reaction leading to ER
The administering nurse had infused me with steroids and
Benadryl
, where after about 10-15 minutes I was finally able to talk and breath again. Immediately after which, I fell right to sleep.

i have depression, suicidal ideation and I don't know what to do.
Normally I took
benadryl
to sleep. I took
benadryl
at 10pm with lithium. When I took my Cymbalta in the morning, it would immediately put me back to sleep and I'd wake up at 3pm. When I took Cymbalta in the morning I'd get a headache and my head wasn't straight. Slight drowsy.

What I find helps my itch…
Hi there, In case this helps anybody else, as the only (annoying) symptom I get on a daily basis is the itch, is antihistamines. In particular I take benedryl alergy relief ‘Acrivastine’. I take this daily and it eases the itch tremendously- long may it last 🙏🏻 I have asked my GP as well as a consultant

ThIrd infusion of JANX007
They had been giving me IV steriods and
benadryl
. My MO came in today and said we are going to change things up, NO STERIODS. He said the odds of having a reaction to the cancer drug was less than 10%. So he sent me home and said to monitor BP and temp.

I took a
Benadryl
just in case it was a reaction. It did go away. I have recently noticed I am not really hungry and have lost some weight. I also have this nervousness feeling (like my insides are jumping) that I never had before the infusion. I did read the side affects of the drugs..

Pd catheter exit site care
The doctors and nurses suggested
benadryl
. That hasn't worked either. What does everyone else use on a daily basis to prevent infection at the exit site? Thank you Renee

I hate waiting at the Doctor's office, I lost it!
My doctor can hear my wheezing and offers me
Benadryl
. I am allergic to that. I tell her I need to go home but I want the shot. She tells me to wait it's almost ready. I am in a full on crisis as I wait. I finally grab my keys, screw the shot. A nurse came in as I had keys in my hand.

PMR and Hayfever
I have in recent years used
Benadryl
as a means of controlling it. Since being on prednisolone I haven't noticed any symptoms. For this I am grateful but have some of my issues been related to hay fever being a part of my system and trying to come through but being suppressed by pred?

What a journey
So, a trip to the James to a CLL specialist, after multiple tests and a lot of sole searching, with a neck that looked like a basketball, WBC at 390,000 I done 12 weeks of Rituximab and
Benadryl
, that took my neck size to normal, but gave me time to look for a clinical trial, soon after stopping my cancer
