What are my diagnostics options?
Hi there, I'm a 33 years old male who have been suffering from restless legs since I was 11 - long before I knew there was a thing called RLS. My grandmother and mother both have chronic restless legs as well. My condition is quite bad. I have restless legs every single day, and it's wearing me down

Buprinorphine/methadone anyone?
LONG TERM RLS and PLMD sufferer here. Reaching out to anyone who may have tried methadone or buprinorphine? I could list everything else I have taken for this disorder but I think you would get bored! These medications are my next hope (if I can find a prescriber).

polyhydramnios - too much amniotic fluid?
Hello, Just got back from a 32 week growth scan (booked in because baby’s been measuring above 95th percentile) and have been told I have polyhydramnios. I’ve been asked to go back tomorrow to repeat my glucose tolerance test which I previously passed about 7 weeks ago and have been told I’ll be induced

Trying Buprenorphine after methadone
Hi, All, I'm in the process of trying out buprenorphine (Subutex sublingual tablets). I had been on 12.5 mg methadone for 1 1/2 years. It did a super job in controlling my RLS (after augmenting on all the DAs, and finally getting free of those about 1 year ago). But I have developed depression since

Hi All, I haven’t posted on here for ages . Hope people are keeping as well as they can be, both physically and mentally during lockdown. I was finally diagnosed with Lupus SLE and Sicca Syndrome at the start of this year . I have been on hydroxychloroquine since January. I do feel it’s helping with

I posted about a month ago and mentioned that I was coming off of Citalopram but my RLS was getting worse. I was very foggy and felt my brain was not working properly. I did the worst thing you can ever do and quit cold turkey! DONT DO IT! it made me a little psychotic and and very agitated. I learned

Baby measuring small. MRI booked.
Hello everyone, my baby is measuring on the “small side of normal” and has been since around 20+ weeks (I’m 30 +4 now). I have already had the blood tests to see if 1) I have an infection and 2) to see what my chances of having a baby with down syndrome etc are which came back low and clear from infection

Madopar for RLS
I have had RLS since childhood and self diagnosed in 2000 when I was on Pergolide which was discontinued. They then put me into Madopar which was ineffective unless I combined it with Pramipexole 0.088. Having read all the dreadful things on this site for Pramipexole I have now changed to Pregabalin

What to ask after miscarriage?
I have a follow up phone call today with my clinic today to discuss treatment following our mmc 6 weeks ago. I hope you could give me some help and ideas on questions to ask about the mmc and the next IVF cycle. To give you some background, this is my second mmc. First, ironically was 2yrs ago today

RLS, Food and the wonder drug Pramipexol
I've reported, that intermittend fasting improved my RLS but christmas threw me out of it and I couldn't get back into anymore. My RLS is so bad that I have to eat to calm it down, my brain is screaming like a baby and I can't manage to overcome it. It's like the craving for a drug. But when I eat I

I take Sifrol 0,25mg per day which gives me partial absence of symptoms for some of the time. I was prescribed 0.25mg twice daily but after experiencing augmentation a while ago would rather stay on the once a day dose. My GP has prescribed Lyrica 200mg at night or 100mg twice daily. I don't feel

Anyone based in Suffolk?
Hi, any lady based in Suffolk could be of great help to the community. Matt Hancock is MP there and also Minister for health. I cannot wrote to him as he only deals with his constituents. If you are based in Suffolk and happy to help on IVF, please get in touch here or on PM. I am trying to raise awareness

I got a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia a few years ago and hypermobility, Brighton score 6/9 so not as bad as some though in my opinion he didn't check other places that I think there may be some hypermobility issues

Would anyone be able to help? I have a 10month old son who was diagnosed with William's syndrome a few weeks ago and I have just found out I am pregnant. RLS better but depression worse
So with my doctors help, I’ve decided to come off of Citalopram 40mg daily. My circumstances have greatly changed and I felt it was a good time to see if I could come off. I am completely weened off now. Surprisingly my RLS has been getting better but I’m now feeling that low mood and foggy feeling return
