Baricitinib
After being on Methotextrate for10 years it’s not working for me any more. About to start on Baricitnib and feeling very apprehensive due to reading so many bad reviews. It seems there are so many side effects -nausea, weight gain, fatigue. Has anyone had a good experience on it?

Tocilizumab or Baricitinib?
The two biologics are
Baricitinib
and Tocilizumab. Is there anyone who has had a similar experience and has responded well to Enbrel, had no reaction to Rituximab but success with Tocilizumab or
Baricitinib
? A long shot, but worth a try! Cheers, Elaine x

Can anyone on Baricitinib share their experiences of it please
My rheumy is trying me on
Baricitinib
and I pick up my tablets tomorrow. From what I’ve read it sounds a little scary and I was wondering if anyone out there could share their experiences on that medication. I know we all react differently but I’d still love some insight from people.

What a day, another trip to A&E.
If anyone is wondering I stopped the
baricitinib
and steroids on Saturday when the virus first hit me, lucky me my joints are now kicking my ass too.

New medication
I was on rituxumab infusion but my rheumatologist wants to start me on
Baricitinib
- a fairly new drug on the market. I believe it is a daily tablet. I have been on so many different treatments, all of which have been beneficial to start with, then end up not being effective.

Baricitinib side effects
Anyone else getting stomach problems with
Baricitinib
? It has been a fantastic drug in every other way apart from an inflamed stomach. My bloods have never been so good, having tried all of the usuals.

Increase in medication
After realising that it was probably not a good idea to up my mtx (even if by injection) due to my slightly raised liver results (which pre date diagnosis) she suggested adding in either sulfasalazine (consultant doesn’t favour this as much) Humira or
baricitinib
(olumiant).

Treatment with Tofacitinib Helps Relieve Arthritis and Rash Symptoms in Lupus Patients, Study Shows
This agrees with prior tests reported for a different JAK inhibitor,
baricitinib
(sold in the U.S as Olumiant), in lupus patients and animal models. Two patients experienced treatment-related adverse events. One had herpes varicella zoster (shingles) and the other had alopecia (spot baldness).

The
