I am now on Bisoprolol 2.5mg, Edoxaban60mg, Entresto24mg twice daily, and new one Spironolactone25g. My problem is that my already low BP plummets every time a new drug is introduced or an increase

Hello everybody I had to have a blood test recently as have been getting slightly more short of breath (SOB) on stairs and slopes. may have been due to some other meds I was prescribed. Very Nervous of Flying ✈️
Hi folks, Was at the nurse having blood taken yesterday and she asked where had I been on holiday as I was a nice colour. I told her I wasn’t going until September but was heading for Rhodes. As my Afib had been mentioned she said ‘how are you feeling about flying’. I just looked at her and said why

Should I live with it?
I am 60 years old and diagnosed with persistent Afib this past November. Probably had it more than a year prior as it is asymptomatic being the type with irregular rhythm with my resting heart rate at 50-60 bpm. Went on Eliquis and have been cardioverted three times- first with no meds and NSF only

My AF Journey and Statins ?
I started getting palpitations in Jul/Aug 2017 and was diagnosed with af, however it was only occasional ie 2-3 times per year for the next couple of years. Gradually got worse and eventually was getting af attacks every couple of days and last year was put on 1.25 mg of Bisoprolol which I hated, extreme

Cardioversion NHS waiting time.
Newbie here. Persistent AFib for 3m. Echocardiogram done. Cardioversion likely to be recommended. Wondered what waiting times people were experiencing? Thanks for any contributions.

Arrhythmia after open heart surgery - any others with similiar experiences?
Hi there, I'm new to this forum and looking forward to learning from you all. 8 weeks ago I had open heart surgey to correct a large atrial septal defect (hole in the heart). It was diagnosed at Christmas. Prior to this I had no cardiac symptoms at all - I was power lifting in the gym, cycling a 20km

Amiodarone
I just wanted to clear up such negative responses to amiodarone. What is the mortality rate for amiodarone? In unadjusted analysis, amiodarone recipients had a slightly higher risk of death compared to non-recipients in the full cohort (87 vs 73 deaths per 1,000 person-years; P<0.001) but not in the

Very happy to hit 2 year mark from last AFIB incident. I was 48 when I had my first episode which terrified me, and the second episode was 9 months later. Both resolved on their own. I started working on lifestyle changes from the first incident. I focused on dropping milk from my diet and keeping

AFib and Blood Pressure
Is there a correlation or causation or no link between Afib and high blood pressure? I had sudden occurrence of persistent AF and high BP. My BP had always been well within the normal range. Thank you for any info you can provide. I know it will be thoughtful and I understand you are not physicians

Have you been misdiagnosed? I might have been.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s approximately four years ago by two different neurologists. I noticed the first symptoms two years before that. So I am into my sixth year with Parkinson’s. I have managed to treat my symptoms through natural solutions, including: - An intense focus on finding a diet

Too much to take in!
A lot going on with no answers. Firstly having been diagnosed with AF in May, I had my fourth episode whilst in France a couple of weeks ago. Previous to that I was asked whether I would take part in the DOCCLA system which is an extension of a hospital ward apparently where they monitor you at home

Newly diagnosed AFib 40 year old
Hello everyone, last week I was diagnosed with persistent afib with lbbb and I'm terrified. I've been discharged with a bag of meds (bisoprolol, flecanide and rivaroxaban) and on the list for an ablation. I haven't been given much info and investigated everything myself. I just feel utterly depressed
