Experiences with

Apremilast

I was taken off of simponi a couple of months ago and have just been put onto apremilast. I am struggling so much with the side effects that I have stopped it. Sickness, diarrhoea, lack of appetite, joint pain and finally low mood.Has anyone else got experience of this drug please?

Hi, has anyone used apremilast? Do you have any advice on it/ sideeffects etc. I am moving over to it as I have had secondary faliure with biologics. feeling really deflated and defeated about finding a treatment that helps. thanks Amy

Has anyone come across or have experience of using Otelza (Apremilast, Aplex)? An earlier post got me thinking as my daughter has just been diagnosed (maybe) with Palmoplantar Pustulosis Psoriasis.

Dear Rheumatology Patient Local processes have been updated for those on immunosuppressant medication (excluding apremilast, sulfasalazine and hydroxychloroquine).

Did the treatment tour- UVB and UVA psoralen light treatment, methotrexate, otezla (apremilast) ...been stable and skin is clear on these biologic injections...no longer having to wear long sleeves and long trousers to cover up psoriasis patches.

This week I have started on Apremilast which I know is fairly new in terms of arthritis drugs. Just wondered how anyone has got on with this drug .. I am still not on the full strength dose for two more days and so far so good....

Hi, I've just started taking Otezla for psoriatic arthritis (tried Methotrexate & Sulfasalazine but they didn't agree with me). Is anyone on Otezla and how's it going? Thanks

I've tried a couple of other things, including sulfasalazine and Apremilast, but they both made me too ill, so I'm back taking just mtx and NSAIDs at the mo. I'm still veggie and sugar-free, and don't eat bread either... I still swim (though not as much as I'd like at the mo)...

January 5, 2018 I start a new medication called OTEZLA (Generic apremilast). Which here in the U.S. has had great results with sores. My Dr. has 2 patients with Behcet's, I'm one in Riverside County CA and he has another in the neighbor Orange County CA.

So I’m starting this new drug in Frida called apremilast hope this helps feeling in agony with my scoratic arthritis 🤦🏻‍♀️😿
