Hi all. Anyone on adalimumab? What a mouthful eh...also called Imraldi. I've been on this (fortnightly) bioligic injection for two years for psoriasis and psoriatic athritis.
Did the treatment tour- UVB and UVA psoralen light treatment, methotrexate, otezla (apremilast) ...been stable and skin is clear on these biologic injections...no longer having to wear long sleeves and long trousers to cover up psoriasis patches. What a terrible effect it has on self-esteem as well as being cracked and sore.
Psoriasis developed 30 years ago , aged 50 now. Athritis onset in 2016.
Counting my blessings and riding the wave of current treatment.
Hi imraldi was the first ever biologic I was started on for both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The first couple of months was great, my skin cleared and no pain at all in my joints. Unfortunately after 3 months or so the efficacy wore off and my symptoms started coming back. Since then I have been on a few biologics, trial and error still in progress. Good luck and I hope they are successful for you.
