Alternative to gabapentin?
I've tried gabapentin and pregabalin and
antidepressants
, all things that "mess with your head". I have bad reactions to them all. Does anyone know of anything other than these that help nerve pain ?

Almost ok but not ok yet
I have recovered a lot from the terrible antidepressant withdrawal. It took years. I now feel I'm almost ok but my brain is still not functioning as it used to do. Something is still not totally right. I suffer anxiety recently. I almost had a panic attack right now. I'm alone with a cat....it's

Been on antidepressants for the last 17 years.
I've tried all sorts of
antidepressants
etc but nothing worked except when I found my soul mate and spent a year with her. That one year was literally heaven. But then she left me suddenly without telling me anything.

Crumbling inside
I've been on
antidepressants
for 7 years. I started on fluoxetine. Now I've been on mirtazapine 30mg for about 3 years. Just lately I've feel off my perch. I cant get a doc appointment and I'm having dark thoughts. I'm scared. I feel like I've got no one to talk to.

I also was seeing an acupuncturist for 3 months following my year of awful withdrawal symptoms from
antidepressants
and then finding myself with constant bowel problems which no siegmoscopy, colonoscopy, or scan could diagnose.

struggling
My attempt to quit the antidepressant resulted in the horrible consequence for 3 years. I'm almost almost almost....Ok now after 3 Years of total hell. But my brain still hasn't come back totally yet. I'm so scared and feel miserable by wondering if my brain function will come back.

Is it time to try another antidepressant?
I have been on Zoloft 100-125mg for about 3+ months now. I really haven't felt any improvement in my anxiety and depression. Should I look into trying another antidepressant or ask my doctor about increasing my dose?

Howdy, I’m new in town!
Well not new to anxiety but new to this community. I figured I join cause I’ve been having some medical issues lately and it’s been driving my anxiety up the walls. And I don’t want to keep burdening my fiancé and mother about it. See I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder& acute depression

2 Month Spotting
I was also on
antidepressants
and medication for ADHD very briefly for 3 weeks but came off. So, I put my unusual periods down to stress but now I’m starting to question things and feel anxious again and feel myself falling into the same hole I did in November.

Mitarzapine, gaining weight? I was bulimic and I can’t go back there. Please tell me if you had food issues
NB being as I have been on
antidepressants
makes me feel even more depressed. I am literally just breathing in the sofa and that’s it.

Antidepressant withdrawal
Am posting this because so many members have written about their awful experiences quitting anti-depressants. If nothing else, maybe it will help to validate your experiences (not that it should be needed). The Covid reference might be misleading or irrelevant. Hopefully the article will be of some

KEEPING A LID ON BLOOD PRESSURE DURING THE CONONAVIRUS CRISIS
Some herbal supplements such as licorice can raise blood pressure, and foods such as cured meats can interact with some
antidepressants
. Manage stress Stress can lead to bad habits, such as poor diet, that can increase the risk of developing high blood pressure.
