Do I have biochemical recurrence, is this hopefully just the bump?
One year and three months ago a had HD Brachyboost with full pelvic radiation for 4+3, but with high .88 decipher. Initial PSA 4.8 I was on one year Orgovyx and Nubeqa and finished three months ago. My nadir on ADT was 0.006. Today was my first post-ADT PSA test. It’s .313 and I’m shocked. I know

Time for Pluvicto?
I had an appointment with the NP at my oncologist's office a couple weeks ago. We discussed the fact that my PSA has been creeping upwards this year and I wondered whether it's just the inevitable failure of Nubeqa, or if my switch from Lupron to Orgovyx last November might be a factor. I started Nubeqa

PSA MYTHS AND FACTS.
I’m putting this subject out here for anyone who wants to share some myths and facts about our biggest testing indicator PSA. I’ll start. The clinic accidentally took two psa tests from me within an hour of each other. The first one read: 11.814 Second one read: 11. 327 (I found this interesting

Arguing with Insurance!
Just ended my 2 years on ADT in late May 2024. My PSA has remained undetectable and just had a blood test (Sept 5) showing all but a couple of blood levels back to normal. Those levels are just off the mark. My doctors have been trying to get approval for a new PSMA scan and of course there is always

Medicare Denial of PSa Test
Imagine my surprise when a recent Medicare statement showed they denied coverage for a PSa test, stating that it hadn't been a year since the last one. I've never seen this before., And I didn't pay since it was a denied coverage, Quest had to eat the cost - it's as if Quest did something wrong. I

Hello everyone. You can probably remember your first time discovering this website and your very first post. Perhaps a lot like mine. I'm 52 and recently diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. I had no symptoms. My doctor was tracking my PSA (3.58 in 2022 rising to 5.46 in 2024). Here's the problem

change in meds?
I’m about to be changed over from Degarelix (Firmagon) to Prostap (Lupron) in a couple of weeks because 3 monthly injection is more convenient. I’ve read that Degarelix is better though.., maybe I should ask to stay on that? Or I’m wondering about asking to switch to Orgovyx instead. I’ve had a quite

Provenge for Hormone Sensitive Men
I am 68 years old. I have been stage 4 PC for almost 7 years now. My doctor is an out of the box thinker and I love him. After my stage 4 diagnosis with 3 mets (ribs, ribs, pelvis) I did the triplet therapy (adt/zytega/chemo) even tho the triplet therapy hadn’t yet been proven to extend survival and

RP, Salvage Radiation with Ulcerative Colitis
After three years of having an undetectable PSA, I am now detectable at 0.1. Is there anyone in the group that has had a RP, salvage radiation, and also has ulcerative coilotis? I am in that place now, and the radiation oncologist does not want to perform salvage radiation because they can’t install

New to this…just saw my PSMA
Howdy all. Let me give you a little back ground. I was having some “back” and stomach issues in June and all of July into August. Blood work looked fine, a mass was seen in CT scan near my rectum and lymph nodes in back were swollen. I work in Europe some and traveled for work. My PSA came back at 166
