Chest pain post angioplasty/stenting

How long does pain last after angioplasty
Painful arm two weeks after
angioplasty
. When the procedure was performed, my radial artery was spasming, so they changed places. But, the intravenous moved slighty out of my vein, and the relaxing meds went into my arm under the skin instead of the vein.

Wheezing/breathless post stent
Angioplasty
and stent all within a 2 week period. Haha!! Crazy times!! My question. I take the above meds still, plus Ticagrelor. I feel like I have asthma. I have felt like that all the way through - it’s what sent me to the doctor.

Newbie
I was moved to another hospital where I had an angiogram and
angioplasty
. After 11 days I was sent home with meds and I thought was doing alright. In May I was admitted to hospital again and, I had to have an urgent triple heart bypass.

Referral to renal unit?
I’ve recently been in hospital for
angioplasty
which unfortunately couldn’t go ahead due to the twisting and an aneurysm in the RCA. I had a kidney removed 3 years ago due to cancer and the remaining kidney never picked up from about 45 gfr. It has gone steadily down to 37gfr.

Seeking for morale support from fellow heart stent heroes!
I’m a 45 year old male had an
angioplasty
done last august. My road to recovery has been quite an emotional roller coaster ride. I’m seeking to make friends with people of the same condition, to share their day to day struggles and how they keep their motivation up.

I think I'm on the mend 🙂
I've done hours of research on the computer as to what I can and can't do following a HA and
angioplasty
, the variance of information from care trust to care trust is unbelievable, some have superb detailed information others have not much at all.

Defibrillator??
Morning all, I'm now 7 weeks on from my HA and 6 weeks on from my
angioplasty
and I've got to say I'm feeling pretty good. I'm doing an hours walk at a decent pace every day, doing my Fitsteps classes again, doing my gardening and generally enjoying life.

ATORVASTATIN Side effects
I had the proceedure known as
Angioplasty
where the arteries ate widened using a balloon rather than stents. I now get very painful cramps at night but my GP will not reduse the dosage because of my heart attack, too risky I guess. Does anyone else ecperience this?

Arm pain right & left- Bisoprolol?
Had to be resuscitated when having
angioplasty
to remove clot. Artery had to be stented. Recurring effusions and pericarditis since then. Probably have PTSD as get very anxious. Keen to hear anyone with both right & left arm pain. Might be muscular after the open heart surgery.

Upper back pain AFTER heart attack?
My Mum is in her second week following a heart attack treated by
angioplasty
(stent). The past couple days she has complained of a general ache/pain in her upper back. Is this normal? It's got me on high alert and very anxious but she's claiming it as a general part of recovery.

Feeling a lot lot better!!
I obviously mentioned to the nurses my dull ache, an ECG showed everything to be working well as did a very thorough scan of my heart....the specialist said the ache from the trauma of the
angioplasty
should go within a couple of weeks. He was bang on correct.

New here, with my diagnosis.
My consultant has asked for an urgent coronary
angioplasty
. The report shows heavy calcium load with significant stenosis in the proximal LAD and proximal PDA. Also says I will be requiring PCI Stenting. In the meantime, I have been prescribed the following Atorvastatin 80mg.

A little update
After
angioplasty
, the stress mri, etc etc I have just returned from a meeting with a surgeon and a “Mr” Dr. It appears that I have had a massive heart attack that should have put me on the other side. I have no knowledge of this happening { is that even possible?}

London to Birmingham canal walk
I have survived three heart attacks, I have been stented, had
angioplasty
and CABG. My partner Ruby and I felt it would be appropriate to walk from where I was born in London, to my brothers birthplace in Birmingham.
