Epilepsy or NEAD?
She had CT scans analysed that showed that there had not been a further bleed at the original site etc etc She cannot have an MRI as the
aneurysm
clip is metal but she also has a pacemaker.

Scary find
I was diagnosed with 5mm basilliar tip
aneurysm
15 months ago. Incidental find. It's going to be monitored every 2 years. I am terrified every day that it could rupture. What do you guys do to reduce the risk of rupture? I'm scared to do anything.

Newly discovered aneurysm
I have just been told that I have an unruptured cerebral
aneurysm
. Incidental finding on scan. I am in shock and devastated. Waiting to see neurologist but as I Am 77 they won’t do anything. How is best to try to come to terms with this. Any help so appreciated.

Dilatation
Hello all I was diagnosed with an aortic root anuerysm 4.26 cm as well as mild lvsd, after a scan with dye injected I have been told I don't have LVSD despite still having low O2 sats and that anuerysm isn't an
aneurysm
but a dilatation and it becomes an
aneurysm
when it has grown by 1 mm.

Tinnitus getting worse
tinnitus for about 20 years but was able to cope with it, now it is so bad it’s more of a roar than ringing, I have seen endless neurologists and had several scans which have all been clear, which I am relieved about as had a brain haemorrhage in 1999, all the consultants say it is nothing to do with the

Hello!
I am new to the community. 2 months ago my mom's undetected brain
aneurysm
ruptured. We feared the worst but got the best. After being in an induced coma and then waking up she moved finally to a rehab hospital and is on her way to recover.

Sauna.
Repairing a thoracic
aneurysm
and replacing a bicuspid valve. My son is leaving home today and I was considering what to do with his room. He suggested I install an infrared sauna and I love the idea. It would certainly help to ease the osteoarthritis pain I've started to get in my knee.

Retinal Migraines
Has anyone experience of retinal migraines/visual disturbances following ruptured
aneurysm
repair? I've had coiling in one and a web device fitted in another one eight months ago. I have had migraines most of my life but the visual disturbances have just happened after surgery.

Opp update
been told verbally that my biopsy results were normal so he said one of the masses that you have may be cancer, we don’t know yet , I then asked have you got my CT scan results, so he got them up on screen for me - he said if it’s cancer it hasn’t spread but we’ve also found you have a large bowel

Latest update & night sweats
the mass that was melon sized they had found cancer right in the middle but because he removed it intact there has been no spread so I don’t need any more treatment, I thank my lucky stars that I went to the GP,s when I did and things have been sorted very quickly, I still need surgery for the bowel

Referral to renal unit?
I’ve recently been in hospital for angioplasty which unfortunately couldn’t go ahead due to the twisting and an
aneurysm
in the RCA. I had a kidney removed 3 years ago due to cancer and the remaining kidney never picked up from about 45 gfr. It has gone steadily down to 37gfr.
