Androcur

Then he prescribed to me a Hormone therapy drug called Androcur, however when I looked up internet on the product information, Androcur has the same side effect listed as the Duodart, "it can cause blood clot". Of course I didn't take it. 

I had also been put on Androcur along with my Zoladex implant in case it might work. This increased all my ADT side affects and I had miserable couple of weeks before my scheduled heart procedure on 20 December.

It has been decided to stop Casodex and take Androcur instead until after the heart procedure before reviewing follow on treatment n January. Overnight my waterworks packed in. I was having bladder spasms every 15 minutes before passing blood.

Perhaps in combinations with hormone therapy a combination of Eligard injections and cyproterone ( Androcur ). This proces and the discussions with his doctors are keeping alert and i try to read as much as possible.

Since 27th June he has been taking 06 Androcur tablets per day along with Maxflow. Oncologist said that it seems to be localized prostate cancer but that will be confirmed by Pelvis MRI due to be tomorrow. Shortness of breath and weakness occurred since the start of medication.

She has been offered Androcur and Dinette but these both cause deaths every year so is reluctant. She did take Androcur for a month but had side effects . Already started a low GI diet and sugar reducing . Please Help.

Hi from down under, I am 69 diagnosed Oct 2002 age54 went to Doc for cholesterol ended up with a PSA test PSA 54 Gleeson of 9, went right over my head, given androcur until I could have turp.

Initial diagnosis: August 2014 Stage 4 PSA 700 with Bone metastasis, Gleason 4+5 Treatment: Injections of Androcur for 6 months, bilateral orchiectomy in winter 2015 (the lowest PSA was 1.37), he cut down on meat, sugar and animal fats, supplements - reversetol, green barley.
