Some advice on going to the hospital please *somewhat urgent*
I have a belting chest infection at the moment (my doctor said it sounds like its somewhere between my airways and actual lungs), coughing up a fair bit of bloody phlegm but not a whole lot of anything else but have a violent cough. I saw my GP yesterday and was prescribed amoxicillin and a tapered course

Lichen planus overlap SLE
Have recently seen my GP & dentist about a particularly nasty infected bit of gum that developed from one of my life long characteristic recurring areas of inflammation & ulceration. I've been with this very good dentist for 4 years since my treatment for systemic lupus & sicca syndrome began. I added

Its official!! I am back on the transplant list. :)
After last weeks visit to the QE I was told by the consultant that he was happy to put me back on the transplant list after an infection had finally cleared up from an abscess removal operation. They normally send a letter of confirmation and phone you to say you have been activated live on the list

Leaky Lymphoedema
Hi, I have had lymphoedema in my legs for approx 20 years, it started in my right leg then about 10 years ago moved into my left leg, which has now become worse than the right leg. I have had numerous bouts of cellulitis over the years, my legs now resemble the skin of a Rhino with large golf ball size

What was in the nebuliser?
Sorry, everybody - I think this might turn out to be quite an essay! Maybe you remember me writing on here about having to cancel our holiday to Greece because of a COPD exacerbation? That was early June and since then, all has been well. The insurance company paid out (hoorah) and we spent some money
