How to end a flare up?
Also tried colpermin, buscopan,
alverine
citrate etc... came off all of those including the pill cause they weren't doing much and months passed and I became slowly better (without any diet changes, in fact I was feeling my best when I was eating whatever I wanted) and about 3 months ago I felt fairly

Is this still IBS?
Had a 2 week course of
Alverine
with Simethicone, Ranitidine and yeast based probiotics and occasionally takes Buscopan and Paracetamol when abdominal pain is unbearable. My symptoms persist and had never resolved or stop.

Antispasmodics and Acid reflux
Mebeverine seems to make it worse,
alverine
seems to make it worse, Colpermin often makes it worse. Buscopan generally doesn't seem to but you can't take nausea tablets with that and also I find it tricky to get for dose right.

More than one antispasmodic med
I've been on Mebeverine for about a month and I don't feel any benefit so I say my GP today and told him the constant pain isn't easing at all, so he's put me on
Alverine
too! He told me to keep taking the Mebeverine as well?

Cannot do this anymore
Given Meberevine, didn't work, switched to
Alverine
Citrate, didn't work, now buy buscopan but have to double up on the dosage. Now this year, my health has just gone into free fall. Almost everyday I have D, usually it is solid D if that makes any sense.
