Well went to london today for Jimmys allergy test. We have found out he has an allergy to SULFITE which is in most foods even fresh veg. Now we know that this has been triggering off his Asthma i hope we can remove it from his diet and start to get better.

That is good news, I bet it is a relief for you all to know what has been causing Jimmy's ill health.

I do hope things begin to improve from now on

hopefully things will improve now

this site is quite informative

allergies.about.com/od/food...

has a list of foods that contain sulfites, and medications

though no doubt u have probably already googled it!

take care

Hi Ashley,

great news, at least you can do something to control the asthma and im sure Jimmys going to improve in leaps and bounds. Apparently sulfite is a very common trigger, its also used in things like preserved foods such as dried apricots etc. I bet your one happy bunny.

Oh Ashley, I'm so pleased you have an answer. Such brill news!! Hope you all have a brilliant day Saturday and your little man stays healthy now.x

Good luck with the cake baking Ashley, it'll be yummy, save me a piece lol!! I did my daughter a Peppa Pig cake for her 3rd Birthday last year, its not too tricky, wait until they want Ben 10 and Disney Princesses!! LOL. My Mum always made us fantastic cakes, shame her artistic abilities didn't rub onto me!!
