Does anyone use a peak flow meter
I’m completely baffled. I had an Echocardiogram 2 weeks ago. Had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair 18 months ago. Last September getting more & more breathless and dizzy. Appointment with cardiologist cancelled in January. Collapsed in March. Hospital for 3 days - discharged with Heart Failure

Muscle fatigue
Long time since I’ve been on site..lots of life events to deal with not to mention the lockdown ...thankfully now had both jabs and returning to the world slowly and safely. Over the passed months I’ve been suffering from my muscles being extremely tired and at times painful. Just wanted to know if

Inhaler technique
Today, at a hospital lung function test, I was told that to do the ‘one breath and hold’ technique is better than tidal breathing, if I can, that is. I have never been told that before, so now I have to rethink. Also, I am worried that my fingers won’t have enough strength to do this. I also thought,

Symbicort and increased hunger, bizarre dreams?
Strange question but has anyone experienced increased hunger on symbicort or any other steroid inhaler. Since I've been on it I've been really hungry and keep getting the munchies 🤣😂. Not going to do my waistline any good (already got bigger during lockdown lol). Am I going mad or have others experienced

Normal HRCT scan.....
After a very anxious, longest weekend in the history of the world, Absolutely incredible news that I have no indication of lung disease or anything else sinister on the CT scan. Very very relieved as I was very concerned about IPF. I was absolutely convinced I was going to have a serious problem as

Nighttime asthma
Hi, only recently diagnosed after 5 years of on off symptoms where my GP said was anxiety. Got fed up and paid for private assessment. Had dye injected CT, full lung function tests and examined by specialist. Had lung function tests about 8 weeks after starting beclamecasone. Exceeded average on it

If it is not asthma, could there be something wrong with my lungs? 🤔🤔
Hi. What is your opinion on this? Do you think I have Asthma or something else (perhaps a lung problem)? 🙂 I'm 19 years old and have been significantly out of breath always, from the age of 6/7. It was not until I was about 15, that I was officially diagnosed with asthma by the gp after I had an asthma

Hayfever Misery
After being inventive and starting off in my house due to hayfever, I haven’t been able to do any more as the pollen count down here must be particularly high at the moment. Anti-histamines, eye drops, nasal spray and inhalers .... and I’m still suffering. So, I’m putting things on hold till I stop

Surgery visit today.
A lift in my son's car this morning to the surgery this morning, there was no way I could have walked there, for my second Covid jab (AstraZeneca). The GP, who was not involved with the vaccinations, was just passing through, pulled me out of the queue and directed me to an examination room, he had spotted

Insomnia and Heart Palpitations With Clenil Modulite 100
I've been given a trial of Clenil Modulite 100, 2 puffs twice a day. After the second dose on the first day of taking it, that night my heart was thumping so hard it felt like my chest was about to burst, I got so anxious and hardly slept. Awful! I reduced to one puff once a day and my breathlessness

Scared
Hello, was diagnosed with asthma in November after ending up with a stay in hospital for a week. Have been using two inhalers as prescribed but have been having lots of chest pain and have what seems like a vice gripping my chest. Drs prescribed steroids for a week, felt so bad after course had finished
