Drug change of Dilzem (Diltiazem ) to Tildiem (Diltiazem ) increasing insomnia ?
I've been unable to get my usual prescription of Dilzem SR 60mg capsules - I'm told there's a manufacturers delay - I've now had 3 nights of increasing difficulty sleeping - I'm only taking 60mg at bedtime - I had a Cryoablation 6 weeks ago and believe that I will have to continue taking this for at

My cardiologist has just changed my bisoprolol for flecainide and
Adizem
. I have been taking them for a week and yesterday went into A fib again. Cardiologist has now increased Felcainide dose from 50mg twice daily to 100mg twice daily.

I am a newby so hello everyone
I take Apixiban as an anticoagulant and
Adizem
to slow my heartbeat, they do ease the anxieties when I get an attack but now I am afraid to ride my bike in case I fall off and bang my head and have a bleed. Its a bummer but I cant have it all!

Adizem XL
I saw my consultant today for the first time today and she's taken me off Bisprolol due to side effects (horrific nightmares) and prescribed
Adizem
XL. Having looked on line (as we all do these days!) they seem to potentially have worse side effects e.g. swelling feet, depression etc.

Just diagnosed and it's a lot to take in
Hi everyone, I've been recently diagnosed with AF after having 3 bouts over Christmas (lasting 30mins, 2.5hrs, and 5.5hours respectively). I'm now on 120mg Dilzem until I can see a general cardiologist at the end of February. The thing is, I'm still getting palpitations and the odd 'bubbling' palpitation

Update
I have posted a few items on this site, and tried to answer other peoples questions where possible. I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone might be able to assist with. Firstly; We all use abbreviations on the site, but what does EP mean? Secondly; I am a 53 year old male and have been

He has now added
Adizem

Bisoporol and Adizem - Heart Rate and Palpitations
Through careful self-monitoring I discovered that within 1 1/2 - 2 hours of taking the
Adizem
my heart would start it's erratic performance which lasted for periods of 6-8 hours at which time it would settle until my next dose of
Adizem
at which time the process would start all over again.

Upper back pain and erratic B/P
12 days post ablation. I am noticing severe, dull, aching pain across my rib cage in my back. I have never had this before. And, one day my B/P WILL BE 170/110, then the next day, 93/45. Only med is cardizem, started last Saturday. Any ideas? Thanks from TEXAS!

V-TACH AFTER ABLATION
Interesting day. I received a message from the heart monitoring folks at 11:30, asking if I was having any unusual symptoms. I said no....just a very brief dizzy spell. Well, this afternoon, they called back 2 more times, encouraging me to go to ER. I said not until I speak with the Doctor , as

Calcium Blockers, Nope don't seem to be working either!
I finally got to see the Cardiologist 3 weeks ago, after waiting 4 months for my first appointment, he agreed that Bisoporol was not agreeing with me so changed my medication to
Adizem
prolonged release, 180mg once a day.

Nytol or equivalent (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) and AF
I am a 72 year old male with PAF (long gaps) and take warfarin, ramapril,
adizem
and bisoporol. I have had a minor heart attack 18 years ago and have 4 stents in my arteries. My GP recommended Nytol but my cardiologist said he did not know anything about it. He has 30 years experience.

Stress and AF
Recently I have had a lot of stress with a local company wanting to build a digester right near my house and this is on going. I think it is this that has caused my relatively stable af (supported by dilzem, beta blockers and flecanide plus three ablations) to break down and all weekend I have struggled

Rituximab infusion went smoothly but tired! What's new !
I was also told in my case to take all my others tablets so; leflonamide, methotrexate, insulin x 3 injections, naproxen high dose,
Adizem
, bendrofluazide, lisinopril, Lansoprazole !! Then they started the Rituximab infusion. The procedure took 8 hours and I got checked every half hour.
