Good morning all, My GP has recommended that I switch from atenelol to
adizem
due to me feeling fatigued after a short time exercising. Is anybody out there taking
adizem
as I've not been able to find out much information about it? Thanks John

Heart Rate 58-60 -not feeling right...
I had been taking Cardizem 180mg LA/daily then down to 90mg LA/daily then was told to hold the evening dose since I was in bradycardia. Awaiting a call back to find out what to do next. Anyone have had this happen and how was it handled? Thanks:)

Feeling awful, my GP has said stop taking tablets and has given me
Adizem
. Read reviews doesn't sound good. Does anyone take them, they aren't meant for heart attack prevention. Think this is my last chance.

Should I take Rivaroxaban and how long?
This long period went away after a few days on
Adizem
. Had to wait till April to see Cardiologist who said AFib is for life, it doesn’t go away, it gets worse with age, and I must take blood thinner for life. My GP said I was low risk being 62 female. Cardiologist said No you’re over 60! Take it!

Swelling in the feet and ankles
I was diagnosed with A-fib 2 years ago. Only gone into A-fib twice, that I know of. Lately, I've noticed swelling in my feet and ankles. Is this common? I'm on Flecainide 100mg twice a day and cardizem CD 180mg once a day. I have a doctor's appointment and will certainly bring this up. Just wanted to

Day 4 Post RF Ablation
Day 4 post RF ablation. Everything went fine. Dr Daulbert and Duke Uni NC staff accommodated me and my family well. Dr stated he ablated all of my PVI and even did some ablation for a flutter he noticed. All of the anxiety and worries I had going into it were really pointless. The took me back. Put

How soon is ablation for flutter appropriate ?
Over the last 2 years, I had what I thought were palpitations after heavy gardening with insufficient water in 90 degrees F.... 3 weeks ago I got a 150 beats flutter and ended up in emergency.. They gave me cardizem drip AND metopropol at the same time and stopped my heart for 5 seconds each time

Adizem
Have been prescribed
Adizem
in place of bisoprolol . The leaflet says do not take if you have a irregular heart beat which doesn’t make sense as I have AF. Anybody have experience with this drug?

1 Episode of PAF at 46.
I am an otherwise healthy male who had one episode of PAF after getting drunk one night. It lasted about 8 hours and I was given Cardizem to reduce heart rate, but nothing else. I converted to NSR without anything else. My real bad habit is smoking which I am struggling to quit. I was on Tambocot but

Pains in my heart - result!
He suggested stronger bisoprol but when I did try that a year ago I could hardly think and my head was even more fuzzy so he has put me on
Adizem

Pace & ablate, the only option?
Eventually I left with anti coagulant pills, Riveroxiban, increased dosage of bisoprolol &
Adizem
. I was given a follow up appointment with a cardiologist six month!s later & there it was suggested that I undergo a cardioversion procedure to 'shock' my heart back into synus rhythm.

Do the drugs keep me out of AF?
I am now 2 months post ablation. I had early recurrence at 12 days post ablation and nothing since. A lot of PACs and some close calls when I was sure it was going to go that way and didn’t. I take 240mg Cardizem daily. And 100 metropolol. My question is are these meds, specifically Cardizem keeping
