Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.
After chemotherapy, have had a great run on drugs, but a bladder neck incision last June confirmed that it had spread to my bladder, about 1cm poorly differentiated
adenocarcinoma
on the left side.

liver biopsy- what does it mean.
This immunoprofile is most consistent with metastatic poorly differentiated prostatic
adenocarcinoma
. I understand the last sentence but all the alphabet soup is clear as mud.

In 2020 she underwent surgery for stage one seromucinous

cyst. six cycles of chemo and everything went well. In recent years the only notable findings in the CT scans have been the incisional hernia and a spigelian hernia.

Is it Prostate Metastases or Lung cancer
Non specific but compatible with metastatic
adenocarcinoma
of the prostate due to history of previous PC. So, everyone assumes but not sure that PC has spread to lungs. Stopped smoking over 30 years ago. On July1, 2024 I started on Abie, Pred. and Eligard shots.

Does this mark the beginning of castration resistance?
Hi all, I have been quietly reading all of your posts and comments in the background since my dad's diagnosis with Stage IV
adenocarcinoma
(Gleason 9 (4+5)) with distal bone metastases in September 2022. My dad's PSA at diagnosis was 150. He is 64.

Asking for my dad!!
He was diagnosed with
adenocarcinoma
with Gleason 8. He was started on hormone therapy and had bilateral orchiectomy as well. He is in great health apart - mentally and physically. He is asymptomatic and is very active. The medical oncologist believes that he should not start on chemo right away.

looking for guidance?dad’s Biopsy diagnosis Gleason 4+4
Results: Gleason score 4+4 12 cores taken, 6 had cancer Clinical Stage T3b or T4 Type is
adenocarcinoma
MRI said involvement of seminal vesicals MRI showed lymph node “lit up” The urologist is recommending radiation vs surgery at this point as they think it’s spread.

Stopping Tagrisso
Hi, I was diagnosed in May 2021 with lung cancer,
adenocarcinoma
, EFGR, I was very breathless, couldn’t eat and fatigued at the beginning. When I had results of lung biopsy, I was told I was suitable to be treated with Tagrisso, a target treatment, daily tablet, this was July 2021.

Doctor says husband's situation is rare
Biopsy proved it to be
adenocarcinoma
. Doctors said it was rare to find this type in the parotid gland. He had radiation to clean up leftover cells. Had a PET scan in January and they said everything was clear except a small place in his spine of which they said was "probably scar tissue".

Urologist recommendation at Johns Hopkins
The second opinion at Johns Hopkins was not conclusive with the following statement from the patholgist: "Although these findings are highly atypical and suspicious for
adenocarcinoma
, there is insufficient cytologic and/or architectural atypia to establish a definitive diagnosis."

Ductal Component
Pathology showed Gleason 4+3 - grade group 3 -
adenocarcinoma
with Ductal components- No LN involvement and PET scan before tx was clear of other spots in body. Genetic Testing will be done -no results for several weeks Is the “Ductal components” in the pathology a big concern ?

Signet Ring Cell
I had a lymph node biopsy that showed "Metastatic poorly differentiated
adenocarcinoma
with signet ring cell features consistent with pulmonary primary" I have not yet had a PET scan or MRI to see the spread if the cancer.
