RARP with wide excision was 07/18/23. Pathology showed Gleason 4+3 - grade group 3 - adenocarcinoma with Ductal components- No LN involvement and PET scan before tx was clear of other spots in body. Genetic Testing will be done -no results for several weeks
Is the “Ductal components” in the pathology a big concern ? Is it likely to need RT or hormones ?
It is a risk factor- the only thing to do is wait for PSA to see if there is a recurrence.
You might put all of the information gleaned from pathology(ies), including ductal factor, in either or both the MSK Nomogram and Johns Hopkins Partin Tables. This might at least summarize statistical knowledge available about your cancer. Complement this with as comprehensive genetic testing as you can find.
