Covid and AF
I tested positive with Covid on Saturday and feeling ill. I’ve had AFfor 8 years but luckily only had three bad attacks in the last 6 months. Now I’m getting supraventricular ectopics in long runs which are scary and make me feel I’m going to faint, and then ramp up my heartbeat. The GP knew little aboutAF

Norovirus and meds
Morning hearties, I am now on day 3 of an aggressive bout of norovirus. Without being too graphic, I’ve not been able to keep anything inside, as soon as I take the meds they are back out again. I’ve been on the normal cocktail of drugs since my HA and stent 10 months ago. My heart rate has gone to

Gralise/ gabapentin will cause augmentation?
I have had RLS since I was a child and is has periodically made my life unbearable. After having been through augmentation many times, I was assured this was a good option. I am on 1800 mg daily and it works fairly well (RLS 75% improved) though I was successfully on Neurontin, also gabapentin, for

Foods to avoid after heart attack and stent fitted
Hi there. Has anyone had any advice from the cardiac team about any foods to avoid? I'm on aspirin, clopidogrel, beta blockers, BP tablets and statins. I know to avoid grapefruit juice, and recently found out about avoiding cranberry juice as well. I've also read conflicting information about avoiding

Medication changes. Trying to keep positive.
My cardiologist for the first time has deleted a couple of meds, Nicorandil 20mg twice a day and Isosorbide 120mg day. Plus swapped Metopolol 75mg twice a day to Bisoprolol 10mg daily. Just had my 5th stent, 7th angiogram. I found this one more difficult to cope with. Just because no matter what my

Worried for my father
My father aged 58 had a widow maker heart attack in September 2020 and had initially ignored symptoms leading to delayed angioplasty by 4 days, where two stents were placed. One more stent was placed in the RCA in December 2020 after the blockage increased from 80 percent to 99 percent in just three

Polyhydramnios specifics
Hello, lovely lot. I'm new here. 33 weeks with baby number 4. I know there are a lot of posts about polyhydramnios, but I'm really looking for some specific details about your experiences if that's okay. As lots have said, the internet can be a bit scary and there I was at 4am googling frantically
