My father aged 58 had a widow maker heart attack in September 2020 and had initially ignored symptoms leading to delayed angioplasty by 4 days, where two stents were placed. One more stent was placed in the RCA in December 2020 after the blockage increased from 80 percent to 99 percent in just three months.
By god’s grace he has recovered well and is doing fine right now. However, i remain quite worried for his health because he has again started taking complete work stress and living his life as he never had any issues. He does not consume any liquor nor does he smoke but he is always agitated owing to his work stress.
I am extremely worried that his stress and agitation will aggravate his health. We as a family have done everything to make him but to no avail.

Hello and welcome to your first post on this forum and hopefully we will be able to help you in anyway that we can.
First of all your love for your father really stands out and this is adding to your worry over his diagnosis and rightly so.
But what can you do ? I really think you and your family are doing the best you can do, Does your farther know how much you all love him and the shock that this has been to you all?
make sure that you sit him down and all tell him, not only your love but how you would be devastated at his loss { believe me some of us men need it spelt out in black and white }
I am glad that you feel that your God has given you the grace to carryon and you must all take comfort when you can.
As for your farther stressful job, does he need it? Sometimes what appears stressful to others are their pride and joy.
He doesn’t drink or smoke so what about his weight? I think that the main point is that your Father is not listening to your concerns, maybe you just have to make those concerns really known.
Its hard for you and the rest of your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all, that includes your Farther who maybe in total denial.
Thank you so very much for such a nice reply. It shows how amazing you are at understanding the problems being faced by others. I am already feeling better.
Hello, I'm sorry to read about your concerns regarding your dad. I also Had a widowmaker heart attack in September 2020 which also caused me to have a cardiac arrest. I understand how worried you are, my family are the same with me. At least your dad doesn't smoke, drink and he isn't over weight. I was in a very stressful job beforehand but I am no longer able to work. However I do have the occasional drink so I have my vices. Afterwards I was prescribed anti depressants and they do help with the stress of it all. Tell your dad how much he means to you and I wish you all the best of luck x
Hello! Thank you for your reply. I understand how much toll a heart attack can take on the person and the family and i am only praying that god gives strength to you all.
And yes i hope you soon start working in a non stressful environment as it will definitely give you a renewed purpose in life. It will definitely be an effort but i think it should be worth it.
