Advice please
The endo has checked by cortisol with an
ACTH
test which was normal although I think the cortisol level at 351 nmol/l at 9am in the morning could be higher, (what does everyone else think?)

Prednisone versus Nutri adrenal extra
This dose was suggested due to my Cortisol and
ACTH
being Low - Cortisol was 112 and
ACTH
was 12. However, I cannot tolorate Prednisone - it has horrendous side effects. I am waiting to see Dr P, but in the meantime I would like to try Nutri adrenal extra. Has anybody experienced this?

Prednisone and NDT -
Hi, At the moment I am taking 2 x 2.5 micrograms of Prednisone due to adrenal problems: *Both Cortisol and
ACTH
were very low (Had these tests completed privately due to NHS not doing
ACTH
- Cant aford this again!). However, I am also taking NDT (from Thailand) x 2 tablets a day.

Cortisol, ACTH, Aldosterone and DHEA
Hi, I have had my cortisol and
acth

Prendisone and levothyroxine
I have been advised to take 2.5 Predisone due to low cortisol and
ACTH
levels. Is it safe to take these at the same time as levothyroxine and antidepresents? ..........I am a bit uncertain as to the long term effect of taking Predisone.........? Ollybear

Cortisol and ACDH
First I had my cortisol and
ACTH
done via "blue horizon" in the summer 2014. I had a really bad journey to get to the hospital - eventually I had the test(s) completed at 10.30 AM (I was fasting from the previous evening).

got saliva results ( cortisol )
I should probably check into the cause further and have a
ACTH
stim test? I read this should be done, before you start any hydrocortisone. I think I will need the HC. Was on it a few years ago, then my doctor suddenly died and I gradually went off.

New endo appointment and new blood results - help appreciated :)
That endo wouldn't prescribe a higher dose of T3 as I had surpressed TSH so I saw an endo in London last week and also had an
ACTH
stimuluation test as I took along my saliva results from Genova which suggested low afternoon/evening cortisol.

Irritable, Angry, Tired, Frustrated
This GP took it more seriously however, referred me to endocrinology and I got a call on the Friday (the next day) from the hospital saying they wanted to see me first thing tomorrow due to the cortisol results (I think they are going to do an
ACTH
stimulation test) Basically, I'm confused, I don't

adrenal insufficiency/fatigue testing
We are about to send a saliva test off to Genova, but I saw a post by someone about a year ago saying that a GP could do a blood test for
ACTH
, aldosterone and cortisol and renin. Would this give an indication of adrenal insufficiency?

I had an

Adrenal Stress Profile results and thyroid med problems
I am currently referred to an endo who has done 24 hr urine
ACTH
(?) test which he said came back 'borderline' and has followed it up with a blood test for which we are awaiting results.
