Possible links between ACE inhibitors and coronavirus
Over the past few months, many of you may have seen conflicting news stories about possible links between
ACE
inhibitors
, angiotensin receptor blockers and Covid-19. Here’s what we know about the evidence so far, and why more research is needed.

Drugs after heart surgery
How long do people carry on taking beta blockers and
ace
inhibitors
after open heart surgery? I had a aortic valve replacement 3 months ago.

Acne and Endo
Hello! Has anyone experienced acne that seems to flare up with a pain flare up? When I get really bad stomach and groin pain, usually the next day I wake up with my entire face broken out....is this a common connection or just unlucky coincidence? I haven’t been officially diagnosed with endometriosis

BCD
Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with Bietti Crystalline Dystrophy. I have been getting intravenous avastin in both eyes for wet macular degeneration since 11 years (when needed). But my diagnosis is relatively recent. I personally have neither met or known anyone with BCD and wanted to see if anyone

Stage 4 ckd with Congestive Heart Failure
I figure the dialysis would be better as i feel I would rather save my heart and keep my blood pressure down with the
ace
inhibitors
, I can live longer with dialysis but nothing to save my failing heart. Any opinions?

Chalazion after injection - how long should we leave it after shot before using hot compresses?
Hi guys, I had my lucentis shot last Tuesday (and a very scratchy shot it was too - my worst in two years). I have a repeated chalazion that comes up on the lid of that eye, and it's in the process of flaring now. Has anyone been given guidance on how long we should leave using microwavable compresses

Hormonal Acne remedies
Hey, I was given a mirena coil which I am guessing quite a few other people with endometriosis have as well. Unfortunately it has given me hormonal acne and this has been diagnosed by my doctor, I have taken lymecycline since March now and wanted to stop taking it however a week after stopping taking

Macular degeneration
I have been receiving injection in my eye since September 2019, for what I thought was a gramuloma in the macula.. I asked the nurse today what I have a she said macular degeneration. The eye dr never mentioned this to me, she just kept telling me injection were for fluid or odema ... I am worried

Popular hypertension drugs don't increase risk of COVID-19 severity, fatality.
There have been concerns by the medical community worldwide that the drugs --
ACE
inhibitors
and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) -- might have caused an increase in ACE2, the main receptor for SARS-CoV-2, which could possibly increase the risk for this infection and its severity. https://news.northwestern.edu

Getting bad acne on levo
So I started Levothyroxine 50mg a month ago and since then I've developed really bad acne. I've always had some acne but these past few weeks, it has been really bad. What could be the cause?

So happy I found this place! It is a treasure trove of information. I am an 83-year-old woman from California with macular degeneration. It has been very slowly progressing for about 10 years, but recently one eye progressed to the wet form. I have had two Avastin injections and am due for a third next

Antihypertensive drugs & PCa-specific mortality
The reduction in risk was more pronounced for AT-receptor blockers than for
ACE
inhibitors
. However, only post-diagnostic use of
ACE
inhibitors
showed a dose-dependent risk trend.
