Getting bad acne on levo

So I started Levothyroxine 50mg a month ago and since then I've developed really bad acne. I've always had some acne but these past few weeks, it has been really bad. What could be the cause?

Have you had B12, folate, ferritin and Vitamin D tested?

B12 often linked to acne

Ask GP to test these 4 or test privately

I've always had some acne too but when my thyroid levels are low it gets bothersome. It's on my forehead, face, and neck. I've noticed my acne is related to low T4 levels, which usually results in low T3 levels. It's possible you're not on a high enough dose yet. I wet some Bentonite Clay I purchased online and smooth it over my wet face then slowly and gently scrub my face in a circular motion with a warm washcloth. This calms it down a bit. I follow it up with a gentle lotion(no purfumes) mixed with glycolic acid.
