Is Radium223 treatment suitable option for me now
Have been on
Abiraterone
for over 18 month but now it seems to be failing as PSA is continually rising; now 18 (was 2.39 back in April 2022) . I'm now mCRPC and still taking
Abiraterone
, ADT and Zometa. Signed up for new trial sponsored by Bayer Co.

living well with a ticking time bomb
This is how I feel with widespread bone metastasis to my bones. however with degarelix ,
abiraterone
and denosumab for bone strength I now go through life as I did before. but for how long ?

Abiraterone Cost
I placed my first 2023
abiraterone
(250 mg, 30-day supply) order (through Optum) yesterday, and they were delivered today. My copay was $660.95. Of course this copay goes down as I progress through the different stages of Medicare Part D. But the $660.95 gave me some sticker shock.

Abiraterone does not have to break the bank
My copay for the generic brand of Zytiga (
Abiraterone
) was going to be over a thousand dollars. So I did some research and got it through my local pharmacy with a coupon from GoodRx.com for 139.71 ,120 tablets 250 mg with out involving my insurance .

Triplet Therapy Failed. Now what?
Doctor started with hormonal treatment while waiting for him to regain some strength, added
Abiraterone
(Zytiga) and Docetaxel chemotherapy as soon as his body could handle it effectively starting triplet therapy.

Abiraterone shortage
My pharmacy just informed me that they cannot fulfill my
abiraterone
prescription because it is currently unavailable in the US. I was wondering if anyone has
abiraterone
leftovers. Thanks in advance.

Lupron, Abiraterone and Prednisone...constant bruising
Treatment plan of Lupron,
Abiraterone
and Prednisone. I have been bruising very easily and often and gathering open cuts at the slightest provocation and seemingly sometimes spontaneously. I also take two Aleves per day for my arthritis. Is anyone else experiencing similar symptoms?

Enzaludimide or Abiraterone
I am on ADT plus abi for the last 4.5 years. Getting to where I should start thinking about when it stops working. I have been looking into BAT. Seems that works better with Enza as opposed to Abi. I am going to discuss with my MO but do you think I should change now as opposed to too late?

Phase 1b trial shows reformulated Niclosamide has promise for CRPC
•Preclinical findings suggest that AR-V7 inhibition alone cannot explain the magnitude of antitumor effects of niclosamide, either used alone or in combination with
abiraterone
or enzalutamide. •Niclosamide, a well known mitochondrial uncoupler, has pleiotropic effects.

PCa survivor guilt
My PCa has been responding good to RT+
Abiraterone
+Lupron+Prednisone despite initial Dx of stage 4 w/a few PSMA/CT bone spots that did not get RT. Seeing others not doing so well stirs up some survivor guilt. I handle it by realizing God's plans are complicated.

Adding Docetaxel to T3b?
He has completed 39 IMRT sessions and is 1yr into a 2 yr course of Lupron+
Abiraterone
. No gene mutations on his Invitae genetic testing. They didn't radiate his lymph nodes during the IMRT because he had testicular cancer 25 yrs ago and they assume they were radiated back then.

Adding TurkeyTail (or other Mushrooms) to my current treatment
Quickly started Lupron and added
Abiraterone
by December. Switched insurance/institutions and went to regional cancer center. Added docetaxel and have finished 4./6 treatments. Next is tomorrow and final in May. In November, I found that I have the Braca 2 gene. I am Ashkenazi Jew.

High liver enzymes - darolutamide
There are a number of posts here with
Abiraterone
and high liver enzymes but I don’t see much reference to daro and high enzymes. Doc is having me cut dose in half for a week and do a recheck (current dose = 1200 mg/day). The good news is my PSA is undetectable.

Lupron+docetaxel+Abiraterone
According to my Oncologist I am the perfect candidate; but, after researching the trial and comparing it to the Peace-1 trial (Lupron+Docetaxel+
Abiraterone
), I’m wondering why he would take me off
Abiraterone
, when the combination of all three treatments offers statistical superior results.
