Hi so I completed c25k a month or so ago and looking to do some strength work and improve my core with maybe some pilates.
I have a few bits already from when I've attempted to take up fitness and pilates previously but I'm noticing that a foam roller is something I may need but totally daunted about the length I'll need because of all the variations!
Would I need a totally different one for dealing with muscle aches etc? So a short and a long? Just really want some advice about whats a good choice to start with! Obviously I may add more/change them over time!

I have found a longer one to be really useful for a lot of roller movements. I used to prefer a shorter, harder one with nubs, but now prefer a longer one.
My history with my foam roller is in ups and downs, but it has always been a trusty piece to pull out when needed.
The times when I didn’t need it was when I was doing daily yoga or using a massage gun. But recently I’ve come back to rolling more regularly my calves, back and the whole posterior chain, and it feels great.
I've got a short, medium firm one which I use more than the short, firm, wobbly one. Very few things make me swear, but short/firm/nobbly does - after I've screamed! 😱😂
