Ahhhhhh… finally I’ve done some solid workouts and I feel like myself again! 😀😀😀
As mentioned in some recent posts, I’ve had a couple of weeks of high stress at work, low time for looking after myself, so in the last 14 days my workouts were far and few between, with only a bare minimum of intentional S&F sessions.
That finally changed this weekend!!! Yey!!! Deadlines behind me, no work on the weekend lined up in the near future, this weekend I embarked on getting back to myself.
Saturday, a slow jeffing run-walk to get back into running, in mildly cold and sunny weather!
Today, at 9am I joined the RowAlong gang of 50 indoor rowers on EXR, a virtual rowing environment with avatars rowing through beautiful landscapes and rivers through Venice-like towns.
And then I was all warmed up, and hubby and his new step joined me in the 15 min of CDorner Fitness routine that introduced us to new steps like the Charleston and Mambo. So at least one of the workouts from the advents calendar done! 🕯️🕯️🕯️
Can’t believe what a good workout stepping it.
Took a break in the middle of it when I collapsed panting in a chair, and I had to ask hubby to be a gentleman and pretend pant as well! He then continued the routine with 5k weights in his hands. (He said that wasn’t great as it put a lot of stress on his shoulders, but I am just continually in awe of his fitness)
But once finished, calmed down, water drunk, I felt really like myself again!
So hubby and I can now again step in sync, as his own step arrived. He wanted to get a different one than I have and now we are both happy with each our own step!
